« Hello, our best hotel in Sicily (on a total of four) the only black point was the secondary sofa bed the spring bed was really uncomfortable. Main bed (rond) was perfect. Room at the 4th floor was large and practical. Terrasse view to the Etna north face is amazing. Welcoming staff with great care. The Gatto blue restaurant was really good not so expensive in regard to other place we visit in Sicily.
Globally the customer experience was delightful. »
"Do yourself a favor: choose another hotel. Like several other reviews mention â and I can confirm â this hotel is sadly neglected and in a miserable state: broken shower door, ripped-off moldings, broken sun loungers, etc. The list is long!
Cleanliness is poor: I found someone else's hair on the sink counter and on my bed at check-in. Old band-aids lay around the pool area for two days. A half-eaten, rotting apple was decomposing among the flowers on the room balcony. The balconies are filthy, the public toilets are dirty â and on and on.
Itâs a shame, because the location is good and the view is beautiful, but everything else shows a blatant lack of care â especially for the price.
The internet doesnât work â the Wi-Fi is extremely slow.
I emailed them before my arrival to organize my trip and an excursion, and they took more than 10 days to reply â an unreasonable delay for customer service.
Getting to the hotel is dangerous, with a steep slope and a 180-degree turn. At least they offer valet parking for âŹ30 per night.
I chose this hotel last minute because it was the only one available with a room for three people. But donât make the same mistake â avoid this hotel."
