Location was excellent. Houses are close together so you can hear music from every house. Only one night we had to deal with loud music past 11:00 pm. House is a bit outdated! No propane for the bar b q pit, had to purchase a tank of propane. Pool had broken and loose tiles around the pool. Pool was very warm and needed some TLC but had nothing to clean it with! We had a family of 10 stay and they only provide one FOB (badge) to get to the beach. Trash cans were an issue! They were full when we arrived and we put the cans out for pickup Monday and Thursday but the trash only emptied one can not the other two and not sure why! You can hear everything on the streets at night and it is very loud but it’s about location so it was understandable. Again the house was an excellent location but like I said it could use a little facelift. The house did not have a broom so we had to buy one as well! Overall it’s a great location but anticipate loud street noise especially at night! Tv in upstairs master did not work and we had to use a ROKU cable from the living room TV to get the game room TV to work.

Great space/location but needs some fixing up

We had a great time. The space was great for our large family vacation. The location to the beach was nice. Although that road is very loud at night from the master bedroom. But, the house needs some sprucing up. The main furniture was a little dirty looking, and had stains, the dining table and chairs were not cleaned (food on it and dirty). I had to clean it. For the price, it wasn’t up to par with what you would expect. It definitely shows that it’s all been “used” a lot. The master bath could use a remodel. The pictures make everything look clean and sparking despite needing some updates, but everything just looks a little tired and used.

If you’re only planning to sleep or beach, it’s fine. The listing shows a beautiful outdoor area with outdoor kitchen..don’t believe it. I rented this home with express purpose of enjoying grilled dinners and outdoor space. The grill grates are rusted and what’s not rusted is so beyond filthy dirty you wouldn’t want to use it. The outdoor ceiling fan was broken and thus fans couldn’t be used. The elevator was broken, the porch furniture was literally ripped, literally falling apart plastic, wicker like furniture. The house floors and porches are sticky so be sure to bring some flops. Bathrooms were fine and the one bed used was fine. Location is the only real advantage. Management company was no help.

Great Location!

We enjoyed our stay at A Beachy Blast. Check in process and communication was a breeze! They answered every question promptly. It’s literally a one minute walk to a private beach! For the price you can not get a better deal. The house was overall clean and maintained. Nice pool and outdoor grill area, has a game room for the boys, and an extra driveway in the back which is GREAT! Rooms are spacious! A family of 10-12 will be just comfortable. The house could use a refresh, maybe paint and a deep clean. But no complaints for the price! We would recommend!

Location!

We love this location. Quick walk to the beach. We had two families and we each had our own spaces. Kids loved the bunk bed room. Great porch/balcony for people and car watching. Lots of cooking utensils. Cons: no broom or cleaning supplies to help deal with sand. No washcloths, just two towels per room. One of our beds didn’t have sheets when we got there and the duvet cover was on top of the comforter. We were able to check in early so that meant we waived the “walk through” by the agency. Overall would stay here again. Location was key for our families

Good Vacation and Location - Not Clean and Poor Communication

We just spent the last week at A Beachy Blast. We had an amazing time with our family! Location is amazing, walk right across the street to the beach and lots of restaurants and shops nearby. It was great having the pool (shaded a lot which was nice), the game room, porch to hang out on, plenty of room for all of us. The downsides - the place was not clean at all. The outdoor chairs around the pool are gross, I wouldn't dare sit on them. Sand everywhere! I know we are at the beach, but the pool area should have been swept/hosed down before we arrived and it wasn't. Our bed even had sand in it...not sure how that is possible if the sheets were cleaned? The furniture on the outdoor patio is equally as gross, all of the outdoor furniture needs to be replaced. There was trash on the porches, sucker sticks, straw wrappers, crumbs. Most beach house rentals have beach towels, chairs, rafts, etc. and also things light salt & pepper in the kitchen. There is nothing here. The property management company is very hard to get ahold of as well. We definitely had a great trip since we were all together as a family and the house had plenty of room. I would not stay here again or recommend it though given the price and lack of cleanliness. The 2 houses next door on either side of the house looked way nicer and much better maintained.

Perfect location, great amenities but needs some routine maintenance

The property offered everything we hoped for and we had a great week. However, there were a few maintenance items that we noticed and shared with the management company. Unfortunately, they never came back to address the items during our stay. Not a big deal, but not great either. More importantly, we discovered that a door on the first floor did not lock properly. Fortunately, no one tried to break in but that is a serious safety concern that needs to be addressed right away. We didn’t notice the problem until the last day when we were about to leave, but we made the management company aware of it.

Destin Regular- definitely the best I've stayed in yet!!!

Everything about this home was perfect! We had a group of 10 and there was plenty of space for everyone. the memory foam modular game chairs/couches turned into a great bedroom for one of our teens. They were in heaven. It was an amazing little versatile piece of furniture. The kitchen was supplied with all we needed, plenty of sitting area, plenty of room on the huge dining room table. The outside kitchen and pool area felt so luxurious!!! This is where we spent much of our home time if we weren't on the most perfect beach outside. The pool felt so cool after the hot beach because it's pretty much shaded all day, so that made it very refreshing. All of the community and private decks in the home gave a fantastic view. The palm trees and shade in the back yard made for the best tropical feeling. The private beach access was steps away from the house and has a rinse off station. It was great to have front and back parking if you bring multiple cars so you don't have to keep moving cars around for people to get out and about. The coolest part was that we literally had everything we needed right beside us!! Alvins Island, Paradise Found t-shirt and souvenir shops to your left and right right outside the home. Also a wine tasting boutique, Dairy Queen, PoBoyπzza place.. BUT- best of all- and it was used every day we were there, was the BadAss Coffee shop!!!! Highly suggest it. So really this house has prime location, prime spots to eat and shop without getting back on 98 in traffic, and prime space to enjoy. I really could go on and on. We will be back. I've come to Destin every Aug for 10 years and by far, the best house I've stayed in. Good job A Beachy Blast! 10 stars. Not a negative thing about it.

We had a Beach Blast!

Great house for our entire family! Great location, right across from the beach access, too! We watched hours of fireworks from the beach....Destin pass to Grayton beach and everything in between. The grandkids loved having their own bunk room and bath, and the pool kept them all happy between beach trips. We enjoyed coffee on the front porch while watching the joggers in the morning, and a drink in the evening when the temps came down and the breezes came up. The bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. We loved our Fourth of July week!

Great Name for a Great Place as it was a Beachy Blast!

We had an excellent experience at this property. This place has great décor and furniture! The amenities including the L shaped Pool and access to the community pool was fantastic. The property access to the beach is literally foot steps away to those white sandy beaches! The only issue we feel that could be addressed is the shower water pressure. I'd be back in a heartbeat!

Larger than it looks, includes an elevator, great beds, awesome balconies...all was great with one surprise - small pool...more like 2 large hot tubs.

Beautiful home, perfect for large families!!

I cannot say enough good things about this home. It's perfect for large families. We were pleasantly surprised to see it had an elevator and the bunk room actually had full sized beds. The only thing that happened during our stay, the boiler for the pool went out a couple of times and there was a cable problem with a tv. The company was attentive to the issues and prompt in coming out to repair. I noticed the home had speakers throughout, for maybe a home audio system, but there were no instructions on use. Would have been nice to be able to connect devices to play music. The pool is a bit on the small side but nonetheless beautiful. We will book this place again!
