We loved the location and how close to the beach we were. We wish there would have been more beach toys or things left from others. We appreciated the beach chairs that were at the house and the chairs at the beach for the house. The space in the house was great. The pool and hot tub were very rough on peoples feet, all of the kids feet were bleeding by day 3. We were also not so happy that there wasn’t staple items in the house like salt and pepper, olive oil, aluminum foil, sandwich bags, dryer sheets, hand soap in bathrooms. I think allowing people to leave staple items would be helpful. We had to throw away so many things that should not have been thrown away.

Family vacation

The property was nicely maintained and very clean. The outside pool area was wonderful. It was a short walk to the beach and close to local restaurants. The golf cart was a great added bonus to the rental. We were a party of 12, which meant that there were four people to each bathroom, which wasn’t a problem, but there was no mirrors in any of the bedrooms. It just made it difficult for people to get makeup and hair done when other people are in the bathroom. Also, the house didn’t have any beach towels so we had to buy towels on the second day of our stay. Overall, it was a great experience and would recommend highly to future guests.

wonderful!

overall we had a great stay at this home! So close to the beach and it had wonderful amenities. The door was not locking properly when we first arrived but maintenance was very quick to come and fix it. It was a great place to stay and i would definitely recommend!

Paradise Palms

We stayed for the month of February 2025. The house is an older home that has been nicely updated. The home was nice and clean when we arrived. The exterior / grounds in front needs some work as debris from palm trees and dead plants made it look unkept. During our stay the hot water heater failed and had to be replaced. Property management replaced the hot water heater the same day (a Sunday) and for that we were appreciative. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property.

The property was very nice. Loved the golf cart, pool, and hot tub. We were contacted to pay the pet fee late the night before traveling. We should've been asked to settle this when we booked, not the night before. And were repeatedly asked to sign the golf cart waiver when it was already signed. Unfortunately, the stay was cut short by Hurricane Helene. We left 3 days before the end of our rental time period which is disappointing to miss out on that time.

Great family vacation

My family and I loved our week stay. The house is as described and very clean upon arrival. The space was plenty for 10 of us including my 3 year old grandson. The first floor was very accommodating for my oldest daughter and her family including my grandson. It had a small kitchen along with 2 bedrooms and eating area. It also allowed my grandson to nap without interruptions .The golf cart was very nice and provided plenty of charge for a nice ride. The beach is conveniently located with private access. We also enjoyed having the beach chairs and umbrella set up daily. Overall the place was everything we expected and would definitely book again. Thank you for the great family memories we made!!

Family Get Away

Overall we had a good stay. We had 4 families staying in the house. It was a good size and accommodated all of us. The kitchen could use some extra pots and pans. There is 4 pots, not enough when you are cooking for several people. One of the beds had sand and hair in it, but other than that, everything was clean. We liked the fact that their was 2 washer and dryer units. It was a good location and the golf cart was a plus.

Great Stay

We enjoyed our stay here. Plenty of room for our group of 4 adults and 5 kids (ages 1-5). We appreciated the high chair and baby gates provided. The pool was really nice too. The only problem we had was everyone’s feet were a bit cut up from the rough sides of the pool. Just be careful and bring bandaids. The heater did not work for the majority of our stay, but the property owner refunded us for it and had quick communication regarding that. The cost is $100 a day plus tax to heat the pool (something I wish had been disclosed in the listing). The golf cart was very nice. We couldn’t find a place that was legal to park it by the beach entrance so we did not use it to get back and forth from the beach (it is a short walk). Overall, we liked the house and would stay there again with a similiar sized group.

The property was perfect for us! We had 2 older people stay with us in our family and have trouble with stairs and the 2 bedrooms on the main floor were perfect for them! The house was very clean and stocked with everything that we needed. I would definitely pay the extra money to heat the pool and hot tub, which we used everyday! The golf cart was a huge bonus as well! The property manager was very attentive and nice! We also loved loved loved the location! If we are ever in Destin again, we would love to stay here.

Decent stay

House was nice and clean and there was plenty of space for our family christmas, (there was 12 of us all together.) We did a lot of cooking and there was plenty of cooking utensils and pans! super close to the beach and in a good area.Back yard is great with nice grill and the door downstairs has an alarm system on it to prevent young ones from going out and accidently going into the pool which was super nice with 4 littles.The only downside we had was the heated pool. We paid for 4 days and it was cold when on the first day it was supposed to be heated. we contacted the maintance man and he came out right away to try and fix it unfortunatly it did not get fixed. we had some one come out 4 times through out our week stay to try and get it working. They did finally get it working on the 2nd to last day we were there and after many messages back and forth with the property manager they did refund all of the pool heating fees. So while it was disappointing we couldn't use the hot tub most of the trip they did make it right and did try to fix the issues even on christmas which we really appreciated. Overall nice place and would stay again.

Great accommodations for a large family

We were so pleased with our stay at Paradise Palms. The home was very spacious, well equipped and furnished. The amenities, pool, hot tub, and nearness to the beach made it feel more like a resort, but with privacy, which is even better. We highly recommend Paradise Palms and would definitely return if given the opportunity.
