One bedroom smelled like sewage for some reason. It was fine for having a one night stay before going to see Fallingwater. »

« This was the second time my husband and I stayed at Trailside Hotel, and unfortunately this was a drastically different experience than the first. « Well, it is a small place right on the trail. No front desk but the connected grocery store was very helpful. Check in was a breeze, although leaving my bike in the lobby made me nervous. Thankfully a helpful staff person assured me it would be ok and it was! While the store doesn't sell beer, they pointed me to a little restaurant bar two blocks away and James the bartender was the best. Good burger, fries, and cold beer!
