„We enjoyed our stay at this property. Parking could be a bit challenging. We preferred this accommodation for privacy and the ability to relax and make coffee and eat breakfast in the cabin. The only misunderstanding was the cleaning fee having to be handled over the phone because there is NO OFFICE at the location and the phone number was with a person at another hotel, who was managing the fee. “

„The cabin was very charming, nicely decorated and very clean. The neighboring cabins were kind of close and a few cabins down, they ran chain saws all day. I enjoyed watching the loons, eagles and a baby otter on the lake. Hope the little guy survives the eagles. All is all, a very nice week.“

We were only there in the evenings we had campfire each night and at one one night the manager called to let us know that the northern lights were hitting and we jumped in the car, went about a mile away, and got fabulous pictures of the northern lights overall it was perfect. It was right in the middle of where we wanted to go. Rock hounding, and waterfall chasing. We would do it again.“

Early morning Kayaking on the little lake with swans, flowering lily pads and a gentle breeze. Very deep in the woods on a long gravel road. „This cozy cabin is incredible!! My dog and I came up for a trail running excursion and I couldn’t sing my praises of this place more. It’s quiet and peaceful, the sauna with a cold plunge in Lake Superior is epic and I was lucky enough to catch the northern lights on a big rock in the lake. There are a ton of amazing hiking trails and a few waterfalls close by, and the restaurant right down the road is great! I would absolutely love to return!“
