Beach House 105

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The staff at your company was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely contact you again.The location, view, pool area, access to the beach, space in the condo, shower pressure, and the cleanliness of the appliances were all great. However, besides the condo needing extreme updating, I do have some major concerns. The outlets in the twin bedrooms will not keep the cords in. Not sure if that could be a fire hazzard. The curtains were not easy to open and not clean. Some blinds couldn't be opened because the stick things were missing. Faucets in the kitchen and main bathroom were difficult to use. Bedspreads especially in the twin rooms looked dirty. I would probably not use that particular condo again.

Disappointed with condition of condo.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The kitchen, bathrooms and appliances were clean. The linens we rented were clean. However, the overall condition of the condo was below expectations. We knew the condo was dated by the pictures, but they were not accurate to the true condition. Mattresses are very worn. You could feel the wires poking. Lots of dust behind headboard and under bed. Lighting is poor as mostly lamps on tables. Laminate flooring uneven and cracked. Hot water did not last through two showers. Maintenance did react fast, but hot water still ran out. Closet doors were broken. Very old electrical outlets; didn't feel very safe. Siding on the outside deck was falling off. Part of the deck was caution taped off while there and the outside showers were not working. Pool was closed for multiple days. We have stayed in Myrtle Beach for over 15 years as a family and this was the worst experience we have had. It was a big let down.

First disappointment in 10years

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Not as good as in past years. The furnace rattled so bad someone before me had placed a plastic glass with a sponge at one end between the furnace and the wall. A furnace guy came and did what he could. 2weeks later and it started making noise again. I give up. The doorbell does not work. The outside light does not work. The smoke detector started beeping for no reason. I bought a new battery for it and so now it is working. But when you use the broiler on the stove the detector goes off. The cupboard doors in the bedrooms both are broken. The slider on the top is missing so the door does not slide like it should. And the TV had to have a maintainance man come in to get it to work And the wiring for the TV's in unbelieveable (through the wall and then along the baseboard and up over the doorway to get from one bedroom to another -unbelievable). I will not be renting this condo again. Also. The rings on the burners of the stove were so black that I had to scrub the heck out of them before I would cook on them. I ate out for two days while I soaked them and cleanse red them' then soaked. Them again and cleanse red them. They are much better but still. Red more work that I did not think I should spend mt time down here doing. This place needs TLC. I've been coming down to SC for 10years now and this is the worst , most disappointing place we ever rented

Nice place to stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place was clean and the view was perfect! First floor facing the ocean, can't beat that! The only drawbacks were the fireworks at all hours of the night on the beach and noisy neighbors above us. Although we made the best of it and had a great time.
