Lake Michigan Cottage

Kleines Häuschen am Michigansee zwischen North Muskegon und Whitehall. Wir sind nur wenige Minuten von Whitehall entfernt, wo es malerische Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, einen ausgedehnten Radweg und viele Restaurants gibt. Wir sind zu Fuß zur Red Rooster Tavern und auch nicht weit vom Vergnügungspark Michigan Adventure und dem Whitehall Lighthouse and Museum, dem Muskegon State Park und dem Wintersportkomplex entfernt.
Cottage ist voll möbliert, einschließlich Mikrowelle, Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine / Trockner, TV, DVD / VCR, Kabel, WiFi, Gasgrill und Kaffeemaschine und Keurig. Für zusätzlichen Komfort sorgen Bettwäsche, Handtücher und Liegestühle.
Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett und das kleinere Schlafzimmer über Etagenbetten. Das Sofa im Wohnzimmer verwandelt sich in ein Doppelbett.

Great location!
It's all about the beach! This house would be ideal for a family with small children. We had four adults and the bunkbeds were not ideal, but since we mostly spent all of our time outside, it wasn't that big of a deal. Really great location, beautiful beach, love that we could have a fire on the beach. Lots of seating. Love it.

The cottage is small, but exactly what you need. A walk down a short flight of stairs and you’re right on the beach of Lake Michigan. Bonfire on the beach at sunset. It was great!

Great lakefront home.
We enjoyed several beach days. The stairs to the beach are very stable and secure. It was only 15 minutes to an amazing theme park, Michigan s Adventure. My wife loved howany antique malls were within 20 minutes. Great property, great host. Will definitely considerconsiderbooking again.

The location is fantastic. We love how close the beach is for taking morning walks and just sitting by the lake during the day. It is a little brisk for swimming but some days it is possible. We had a beautiful sunset each night. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. Thank so much!

Cozy Cottage
We had a short stay as we explored Western Michigan. The cottage was a good home base for us as we played in Michigan. Positives: The Lake. Honestly if you want a cozy spot with the lake at your feet this place is for you. Our crazy boys loved diving in regardless of how cold it was 😆. Yard. Both the front and backyard gave more than adequate space for ours boys to play. The long driveway in the front got turned into a wiffle ball court. The backyard had a fire pit which was wonderful. I wouldn’t say the rest are negatives, but just awareness. The house is cozy… for us. We have a 10 year old boy and 6 year old boy and space is limited. We were glad that there was outside space. Master bedroom bed sunk in a bit towards the middle. Wasn’t terrible but we had just stayed at a hotel the night before where the bed was amazing so it was noticeable. Overall the trip was great.

Best rental ever
This is by far my favorite place I’ve ever rented via VRBO. The house itself is a perfect little cottage, and it was immaculately clean. I was here with my husband and our two dogs and we had the best time going to the beach every day. There is a yard as well and a little deck out back. We cooked each day and grilled almost every night. The lake/beach is unbelievable and so beautiful. Check in /out was super easy. This is my dream house!!

This setting is lovely. Quiet, scenic. A bit of a drive to the neighboring towns, but only about 15 minutes or so. Cottage is small but clean and well appointed. Would stay here again if we return to this area. Owner is very helpful and responsive.

Weekend getaway to visit family
The property was very clean and cozy and nicer than the photos show. It was a little small for our family of five and two small dogs but we were only in town for the weekend for a wedding and graduation so it was definitely manageable. The snacks waiting for us was a huge hit with the kiddos! The outside area has plenty of seating. The beach was so peaceful and beautiful. Wish we could have enjoyed it more. Everything went very smooth and communication with the host was excellent.

We loved the cabin. Unfortunately it was cold and rainy our whole stay so we didn’t get to enjoy the property other than having a coffee on the landing to the beach stairs the day we left. Very clean and cute. Only thing we would change is the mattress and pillows in the master bedroom. We had a hard time sleeping as the mattress was so soft in the middle and pillows were super hard. Would happily rent again!

The home was just as described! Stocked well with accessories you may need throughout your stay. The view was better than expected. My only recommendation would be to cut some of the shrub back that is growing on the patio. It is starting to block the entry onto the patio.

A quiet getaway for the weekend
This was quite honestly the most lovely get away spot for a quiet weekend on Lake Michigan I've visited. Private beach, private drive, and all the amenities needed. While the neighbors are very close, everyone was polite and quiet and it wasn't a disturbance to our weekend whatsoever. We can't wait to to return with our kids, for a beach weekend in the summer.
