I enjoyed my stay, this isn't the first time I've been to the Maisons Sur Mer building in Myrtle Beach but this is the first in this unit. Overall the unit was nice however there were a few things that made me give it 4 starts and it really is 3 1/2. First is the water pressure in this unit. I did report it when I arrived however nothing was ever done about it. You turn on the kitchen sink and you can hardly rinse off a plate. Taking a shower is irritating trying to get the shampoo & conditioner out of your hair. The other issue is the TV's. It literally took 5 days to figure out how these TV's worked, you had to use two remotes interchangeably and sometimes you still couldn't get it to work. There was nothing written down to help you understand how to work them. Called about that however the person who came to fix the sliding door handle that was broken (put it on backwards when he fixed it) really didn't understand them either. When you go on vacation you just want to relax and not be irritated by little things that shouldn't be an issue.
Beds were comfortable, view was nice, area is great, pool is great, proximity to the ocean great.
The reality agency handling the property could do a better job of letting you know if your issues are being addressed. Even a follow up phone call to say they logged the issue but they can't help you for a few days would at least let you know where you stand. I arrived on a Friday, called on Saturday morning to let them know the issues with water pressure, the sliding door and the TV's however it wasn't until Monday afternoon when someone came to fix the door. I understood from the gentleman that they were busy with water leaking issues in the building and that's why it took a couple days. I can understand that and would have expected the reality agency to let me know they would be a few days.
Anyway, all in all it was a nice place, just small things that add up.
