Dieses Ferienhaus bietet dir vielfältige Möglichkeiten für einen unvergesslichen Urlaub. Tauch ab ins kühle Nass im Außenpool, genieße die warmen Sonnenstrahlen am Strand oder verbringe entspannte Stunden im Wasserpark. Dieses Ferienhaus hat 4 Schlafzimmer und bietet dir einen kostenlosen WLAN-Internetzugang sowie ein Schlafsofa. Selbstversorger finden dank der Küche mit einem Kühlschrank, einem Ofen, einer Herdplatte und einer Mikrowelle alles vor, was sie zur Zubereitung leckerer Mahlzeiten benötigen. Die Reinigung erfolgt auf Anfrage.
Dieses Ferienhaus besitzt klimatisierte Zimmer, die folgende Ausstattung bieten: DVD-Player und Wasserkocher mit Kaffee-/Teezubehör. Die Zimmer verfügen über Balkone. Beautiful Outerbanks Home

Our family had an amazing time! The house provides everything that we could have needed. The hosts are very attentive and provide a lot of information about the area. The house was spotless and just steps from the beach. We enjoyed the hot tub, the porch swing and all of the decks. We’d come back again in a heart beat.

Best VRBO I've encountered

This vacation was a last minute trip for my family and I'm so glad we selected this property. The property was extremely clean and better in person than in photos. The house was fully stocked with items I wasn't expecting - - coffee, tea, robes, slippers, etc. The host was extremely responsive to questions as well as being proactive in terms of what to expect upon check in, what to do upon check-out, local hot spot recommendations, etc. I'd give this property an 11 out of 10. Perfect Beach House

We enjoyed staying at this home. It had everything we needed and was quite close to the beach. We stayed too early in the season for the pool but the hot tub was great. There are plenty of space, beds and everything was new and comfortable. There was coffee and tea available with creamer pods and such. We definitely recommend this property.

Perfect for a family trip

This house was very comfortable for my family of 7. Everything was clean, the beds are great, and so many little extras like shampoo, trash bags, cooking oil etc. made it easier for us. We have stayed at rentals that don't supply even one trash bag. We loved all the outdoor spaces and the location is close to both the beach and the shopping areas. We were blessed with sun and great weather despite coming during the winter. We would definitely return if future travels bring us to the outer banks.

Super Location and Amenities

Property is as advertised. One reason we splurged on this place is because it was so comfortable and well appointed. Since it ended up raining 9/10 days (which did NOT ruin our fun), this investment paid off as we spent a lot more time inside than expected. Large living areas with a well-stocked kitchen. Location and hot tub were major pluses...also loved the sunset from the gazebo on the sound and the great proximal restaurants.

Great stay and perfect location

We had a fantastic trip, with the only downside being too short. Next time we’ll plan to stay longer. Communication was A+, location was perfect, and the common area pool was perfect for the days you want a quick dip without heading to the beach. Highly recommend and we’ll be back!

What a great house and location. Check in was seamless. House was very clean. Pool was clean and enjoyed by the kids. And a fantastic beach is just across the street. We had a marvelous time at the Whale House. The house was well equipped and we wanted for nothing. Particularly popular were the hot tub, cornhole and the pool. Perfect Family Getaway

This was our first time in the Outer Banks. This home exceeded our expectations! When we first got there, we noticed how clean everything was. The location was perfect. Just steps away from the beach and the pool. This house was fully loaded with games, bikes, sand toys, beach chairs, and umbrella. It was nice not having to pack all of those much-needed necessities and travel with them. My family all said that I did a GREAT job picking this year's destination. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for allowing our family to spend a week in your beautiful cottage!

OBX Beach Retreat

Jose and Jennifer’s Whale Cottage offered a pleasant and relaxing beach vacation for our family. Walking distance to white sandy beach, clean and well kept beach accessories to borrow, bikes to explore with and a pool & hot tub for the cooler days. The house has a kid friendly layout, super clean and well kept, multiple laundry units, fully stocked kitchen with all the utensils you need to cook and clean. The host’s are very accommodating, responsive, let us check in early and offered for us to extend our trip (which we did). The Whale cottage is a perfect place for families to come and enjoy all of what OBX has to offer!!

The perfect winter getaway!

We were looking for the perfect winter getaway for a long weekend, and we found it! The Whale’s Cottage is beautiful, even bigger and brighter and nicer than the pictures. The kitchen has EVERYTHING you could ever want (we especially enjoyed the waffle maker). It was a super cold weekend, but the heater worked great and we appreciated the extra blankets. And for the days when the weather was awful, we enjoyed the foosball table, arcade, plethora of board games, and cooking tools. The house felt like a home, not a rental. The hosts are so helpful and kind, too. I imagine this house is terrific in the summer, with its proximity to the beach and Jockey’s Ridge and community pool. But it really shines as a winter getaway when you need a quick escape from the dreariness of January! The home was loved by children and adults alike.

Nags Head Christmas 2023

The Whale Cottage exceeded all of our expectations! Upon arrival we were surprised with the generous welcome gift and immediately noticed that the home was in tip-top shape. The two large master suites provided ample privacy for our group. I loved the game room with the vintage arcade game and foosball table. Who knew Frogger was so difficult ... lol. When the weather was agreeable we made our way to the beach which is only 1-2 minute walk. The cottage is conveniently located to many attractions, grocery store and hospital. I would give this place six stars but there are only five.

The Whale Cottage was perfect for our family getaway! The home was beautiful and CLEAN. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need. We didn't have the best weather for going to the beach but the walk over is very short and easy. Definitely recommend!

We visited in September with family, and my main fear was that the house would not be clean. Thankfully, the house was SPOTLESS when we arrived! We were even surprised with a Hot Tub that was brand new! The location was great, only a few steps to the beach. If you visit after September 4th (I think) the community pool is closed, which wasn't a huge deal for us. There were plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing Place!!!

The Whale Cottage is absolutely amazing! Super, super clean, which we hugely appreciated. The home is spacious, comfy, and has great amenities. We really enjoyed the comfy Adirondack chairs and huge connect 4 out on the deck. We also enjoyed the foosball table and retro arcade games. The welcome bag of amenities was a very nice touch that we appreciated. The proximity to the beach was fantastic. The pool is very busy but one can find it empty at certain times by checking, as it’s able to be seen from the house. Thank you so much, Jose and Jennifer, you’re amazing hosts and we will definitely be back!

The Wonderful Whale Cottage

We loved our stay! I took my family (2 kids) as well as 3 grandparents and 1 aunt. The house was beautiful and the owners really go above and beyond from welcome baskets, to gift cards, and even texting you throughout the stay to see if they can help at all. We had my 1 1/2 year old daughter with us and the listing said there was a baby gate. There was in fact a baby gate but it was not wide enough to block the top of the staircase (leading from the living area to 3 flights of stairs). When I texted the owner to ask if there was an extension I was unaware of it’s location he not only replied but told me if we needed to buy one to make our stay easier he’s reimburse us if we left the gate there. When I didn’t buy a gate he asked for the measurements of the staircase so he could buy one to provide to the best guests who needed it. The house was extremely clean and well stocked. The access to the beach was simple and definitely within walking distance. The pool is basically at the end of the driveway! Loved the house and the effort the hosts put in. Definitely recommend!

Great family vacation

We had 2 families in this house and there was plenty of space for everyone and the 4 kids to play and the adults to still have their own space as well. Great proximity to the pool and beach and house was exactly as pictured! Owners were very responsive and answered all questions!
