« Lovely one night stay at the hotel. Really impressed with the room, lovely view and loved that we had a bath too. The grounds around the property are stunning. The view from breakfast was delightful. Parking was a squeeze, we were lucky to get a space. Would have preferred if the bar/lounge stayed open for the evening but other than that a great stay! »
« The hotel is beautiful from the outside and located in such a picturesque area but the room we got was a disappointment.
Located on the first floor and tucked in a corner, it did not match the pictures on the site and looked rather old (except for the bathroom), with an uncomfortably slumping mattress. The view was on some sort of roof/installation that nearly blocked all light.
I will add that other rooms, which I saw the next morning while housekeeping was cleaning, looked much better. I'm...

« Moss Grove is a fantastic B&B in the heart of Grasmere. The staff were wonderful—their “we’ll do everything we can for our guests” attitude really made our stay.
The hot tub photos seen during booking however, gave us the wrong impression. It’s exclusively for the suite, with no access for other guests. We brought our bathing suits, only for them to spend the entire stay in our suitcase. A massive disappointment.
