„The hotel is located in upper floors of a shopping mall. I stayed for 4 nights and took the executive room which still had a very acceptable price (approx. 80 USD). The room was big, nicely furnished and despite the central location quiet at night. Breakfasts are OK, a mid-size buffet with everything you need. The staff is friendly but the service-orientation could be better. All in all I enjoyed the stay and can imagine that I would stay there again.“

„The stay at Excelsis was excellent. The staff were so accommodating and eager to make the stay comfortable. The food was good, I recommend their chicken fried rice. Breakfast was well prepared as I ordered off the menu, the Spanish omelette was magnificent. All in all a great first stay. Keep up the great work. “

„A very nice place to stay in Kampala. We had a cottage for a week and really felt at home. Staff is attentive and friendly, always helpful. We enjoyed the garden and the quiet ambience. A real resting place to chill and relax after a day of work in this busy and noisy city. Restaurant is good average, nothing to complain about. We liked to sit on the verandah for dinner. Must try the fresh fish from the lake! Didn't see the rooms but highly recommend the cottages, rates are slightly higher but ...

„The rooms are of good quality, so is the bathroom. My balcony was to the quiet botanical garden which was very nice. Rooms on the other side of the building facing the road are loud. Breakfast buffet is good, the choice is just OK. Very helpful staff which prepared an extra early breakfast for me when I was leaving to a national park trip --> thank you! The only weakness I noticed was the weak Wifi in the room. Paying for an executive room I would expect a stable, strong signal“

„While the location is chaotic and busy the actual hotel was surprisingly good. Very nice and clean rooms to really affordable prices, The food at the hotel restaurant was really good and the staff was amazing. The only issue is to get a taxi driver to want to drive downtown where the hotel is due to the busy traffic around the area. But highly recommend this hotel as it is really good value for the money.“

„"Le petit village" ist ein kleines Hotel, das afrikanischem Flair mit europäischen Komfort verbindet. Es liegt nicht im Zentrum, aber noch in einer akzeptablen Entfernung zu diesem. Allerdings bringt seinen Nähe zum Vergnügungsviertel Kabalagala es mit sich, dass an den Wochenenden von Donnerstag bis Sonntag Nacht die Lärmbelästigung durch Musik sehr hoch ist.“
