« This cabin is located in the middle of a national forest not far from the Colorado border in a remote location. It is surrounded by native vegetation and wildlife. While you are having breakfast, you can often see a family of deer grazing just outside the dining room. On our drive to town, we also came across a family of wild turkeys. « Former dude ranch with a rustic feel. A lot of history with famous authors, actors and celebrities. Would stay again. Would love to own a cabin like this. »

« The cabin was very accommodating for our group. We were celebrating my husbands 60th birthday and had a group of 11 people ranging in ages from 9 months to 60. There were quite a few spiders as mentioned in other reviews, but I feel like that was to be expected considering the location of the property. The only negative aspect was that the hot tub never did get hot. It stayed at a barely like warm temperature. All in all, we really enjoyed the property and plan to return in the future. »

« The property and cabin were beautiful. The environment is amazing. I was really disappointed with the bed, though. For the cost of 250 per night, I expected a bed that did not feel like I was sleeping on a rock. Neither my husband nor I was able to sleep, which made the rest of the stay less enjoyable since we were so tired. We travel quite a bit, and this has been the worst bed we have ever slept on, even worse than going camping and sleeping on the ground. »
