Lower Garden District Creole Cottage w / Southern Charm & Elegance

SituĂ© Ă  1 pĂątĂ© de maisons de St. Charles Avenue, ce luxueux cottage est adjacent Ă  un manoir de style victorien datant des annĂ©es 1890. InspirĂ©e du design classique des cottages crĂ©oles de la Nouvelle-OrlĂ©ans, cette propriĂ©tĂ© a Ă©tĂ© rĂ©novĂ©e rĂ©cemment et comprend: brique naturelle au 1er Ă©tage, escalier en bois teintĂ© d’acajou rouge et moulures de fenĂȘtre, parquet au 2Ăšme Ă©tage et armoire antique. En bas salon a un lit de taille, un canapĂ©-lit de taille normale, de nouveaux appareils de cuisine en acier inoxydable, et salle de bain complĂšte. A l'Ă©tage salon se compose d'un grand lit et un canapĂ©-lit double. Dort confortablement 4 et jusqu'Ă  6.

La propriété est à proximité des restaurants, marché du frais, la pharmacie, les transports en commun et piste cyclable. Les voisins sont à la baisse la maison et sympathique, avec beaucoup d'hospitalité du sud.

This property was perfect for our stay! I am a New Orleans native and return frequently for visits (along with my spouse and two small dogs). The location was great: short walk to the streetcar and in the heart of Uptown. We never had trouble with street parking for our vehicle as there was always a spot nearby. The unit was impeccably clean (and I’m picky)! The in/out process was so easy with the keypad. Other details that made our stay so enjoyable were the Keurig coffee maker, quality mattress, central A/C cooled the space efficiently, good water pressure in the shower, nice thick bath towels. Many thanks to the hosts for such a great place that we hope to return to!

Everything worked very smoothly, the cottage was well equipped, although we were a little nervous about sleeping accommodations, regular beds & all futons we used were completely comfortable (i.e. all 3 of us slept thru the night every single night, linens & blankets were good. The kitchen was a little under-equipped, which was a blessing in disguise: we happily ate out every evening!

The cottage is charming & has a great location. The space was clean & beds were comfy. Only 1 short block to the St. Charles streetcar & a nice grocery store. Easy home base to explore the Garden District from. We’d stay here again.

My fiance and I went to New Orleans for a week and didn't want to deal with a hotel. This cottage caught our eye and we are so glad it did! It's the perfect size for a couple or small family and is in a perfect location! It's in the Garden District but only a block from the streetcar that runs right to Canal Street. The property manager was very pleasant to work with and they were so accommodating. Only warning I'll give is that the stairs to the loft are steep, so don't try to take them after excessive drinking.

Was a great place to stay, had all we needed for the 3 day trip.. easy travel to French quarter and all the food & drinks near by... property is beautiful and very safe and secure.. would stay again when we go back

This cottage is really cute and was very clean. My daughters loved the window seat upstairs. The only snag we hit was our check-in code did not work when we arrived. That was resolved pretty quickly and we really enjoyed our stay. There's a grocery store close enough to walk to and that was a great feature as well.

The cottage was perfect for my family and I. We needed to travel with our small dog and he was allowed to stay! The entire space was clean and fresh with nice appliances and complementary coffee & Keurig. Air conditioning and Wi-Fi worked great. The four of us had nice and comfortable bedding and premium towels and shower head!! All in all our stay was excellent! Parking was no problem and the price was great considering it was a BIG festival weekend!

We loved our stay here! 1 block from streetcar pickup. 1 block from bus tour pickup. 1 block from grocery store. Walking distance to magazine street shops and restaurants. Easy check-in and easy check-out. Highly Recommend!

I'm not sure where to begin with this! Del is amazing! He always replied to any questions or concerns within minutes. There was a mix up with our booking and he went above and beyond and gave us a great deal for the inconvenience. We stayed in the cottage, my husband and I and our teenage boys. It was extremely clean and the decor was perfect (loved the brick floor). There's a twin bed downstairs, a pull out couch/bed and a queen in the loft with a futon as well. There's no TV upstairs and the only bathroom is downstairs. Stairs are kind of steep. It was perfect for our needs. We parked in front of the house and had no issues (you can park on both sides, we didn't know that at first but Del told us when we got there). We left the car and took the streetcar everywhere. There's a streetcar stop 2 blocks away and a Fresh Market as well if you want to pick up some groceries. This was in a good location. We enjoyed our stay.

We are a military famy transferring into the area and needed a comfortable place for an extended stay until our household goods arrived. This location could not have been better. A block away from the market, 2 blocks from the ferry, and surrounded by the beautiful Garden District. We throughly enjoyed our stay and host offered fantastic service and communication. We had some special requests due to our situation and host was very accommodating. Highly reccomend.
