„Beautiful little lake home. Love the view from the front porch. There is an eagle nest across the bay so we enjoyed watching all of the nature with the binoculars from the nice dock benches. Kitchen had everything you need to make meals. Day trip to Franconia sculpture garden was great. Great communication with the host. A very comfortable stay! “

„Amazing cabin. Absolutely everything you would need and more for your stay. I personally spent most of the time just enjoying the porch area..reading during the day and taking advantage of the amazing weather I had during my stay. At night enjoyed the gas fire pit/table and the hot tub. Kyle the owner was fabulous and kept in communication with me making sure that everything was going well. Highly recommend!! I will be back.“

„This was a lovely get away from the city - about 4 hours from Chicago with an easy drive. It's a new to renting so we were one of the first renters. It's in great shape, it has a grill and the kitchen utensils meant for cabin life. The host was very responsive with any questions we had. We enjoyed the calls of the loons, the dock and the fire pit. The only draw back (which is also a plus for a nature escape) is that it took about 30m minutes to get to town so come prepared with food for the ...

„It’s a very nice cabin in a beautiful remote area. Everything was in order. The only thing is when we tried to use the oven it’s started smoking. So we turned it off and used the stove which worked well. Other than that all was good. “

„Great cabin for a little get away!We had fun. The cabin is newer so extremely nice!! Host was a great communicator as well. Beautiful sunsets along the lake. We went to the Minnesota state fair, ate at the View, Chippewa family restaurant and also Norske nook. Great food and great times.“

„Cozy cabin surrounded by awesome nature, but still really close to conveniences! The water lillies were so pretty! The cabin was well stocked with amenities and entertainment. It was fun to play board games during the rain! We really enjoyed our visit, we would definitely recommend!“

We stayed one night, after attending a wedding at the Shed, but would have been happy to stay for a long weekend, to explore the countryside around Amery. Winter or summer, this is the perfect place for a family retreat!“
