« The room was clean and quite nice. The staff was very kind. We tried the Friday fried fish and it was one of the best we've ever eaten. But we were very disappointed with the breakfast... We didn't know that a Continental breakfast is just a small and not various one. So, just be aware, do not have more expectations than cereals, fruit and bagels... oh, and if you don't drink coffee but tea, no chance to find it :( »

« This is my favorite place to stay in the Rice Lake area. It is a charming lodge tucked away in a quiet spot right on the lake. Expect beautiful vistas year round. Each room is designed uniquely, several are pet friendly. Each has a view of and access to the lake. The staff/owners are friendly and accommodating. There are complementary non-motorized water activities in the summer and nightly campfires. Breakfast is fruit and a locally baked scone. There is nothing hotel-chain about this place. »
