« The cabins are duplexes, set among trees beside a fast-flowing river. Two decks at the river's edge provide relaxing settings for reading or conversation. Although the units are small and older, the friendly and helpful owners are doing a good job of updating them, so they accomodate newer ammentities, ie microwaves, Smart TVs and Wi-fi access. « Our family of four (inc. a 13 year old and 12 year old) had a blast at this charming cabin! We LOVED having a beach and boats to use. The kids splashed around in the lake at night, we had an epic Connect 4 competition, and the hubs and I enjoyed a beverage on the deck (loved the wine that our wonderful host left for us)! « Visited Traverse City with my family for Labor Day weekend. Property was very nice. A bit of a drive (6 or so miles) to downtown Traverse City but not horrible. On the main bike path. Meijer grocery store close by. Beds were comfortable. Unit was clean. Check-in/check-out was easy. The only negative was the Yale lock. It was a struggle getting it to wake up and accept the access code. We figured it out but others may struggle. I would recommend. »
