« I loved my stay at the Brae. It was the perfect place to get over jet lag as I embarked on a one-month vacation of the U.K. It’s a couple of miles outside of town, and the bus to downtown stops right in front of the house, which was perfect. Very comfortable for sleeping. Having a bath tub to soak in after a day full of walking was heaven. Graeme was an extremely welcoming and informative host. Definitely recommend t He Stay at the Brae. »

« Lovely apartment on a wonderful local street. Not in the touristy area, which we loved, but some might find it too out-of-the-way. Walking to Stockbridge was wonderful, but New Town was 20 minutes uphill. Cabs/Uber were very tough to get, but that seemed a citywide issue. »

« There is no parking for this place. The parking that they list on their email is only for permit holders. This greatly reduced my rating. The apartment itself could use a good deep clean. Tons of dust, the couch was covered in stains, the blanket on the couch was very smelly and dirty. The location is okay, far walks and bus rides to everything. »

« Really clean flat on a great spot. One bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen is well equiped. Approx. 30 min walk to Edinburgh Castle. À lot of restaurants and bars around the place. A grocery store right at the corner if you want to cook. Radek and Marine are great hosts. They gave us all the details we need to get in and many tips for restaurants and bars around the city. Nice vacations in Edinburgh ! »

« Points négatifs: Quand nous sommes arrivées l'ordinateur de chek in ne reconnaissait pas notre nom. Heureusement, une gentille femme de ménage est venue à notre secours. Par contre, le plan de travail de la cuisine n'était pas nettoyé, il restait les miettes sur et autour du grille pain des précédents locataires. Le dernier soir, la carte pass de la chambre ne fonctionnaient plus, plus personne dans les locaux, réponse tardive au numéro d'appel d'urgence. Pas assez de chaises à table. Points...

So close to the train and bus right across the street. Easy walk to the stores and cafes and also the beach. So much better than staying in the city. I met some of the nicest and most helpful locals. My only suggestion would be a better mattress. Really nice and very clean. Loved the kitchen. Thanks for a wonderful stay! »
