« This very clean and comfortable cabin is in a quiet, peaceful location. It had everything we needed and we had a wonderful week of vacation.There are several several fishing, boating and hiking options within a short drive. The International Wolf Center and North American Bear Centers are less than an hour away in Ely and there is another bear sanctuary a short drive from the cabin.We highly recommend it! »

« Perfect for a solo retreat! I needed some relaxing time alone in the woods (in a beautiful maple forest, no less), but still wanted to be somewhat close to civilization, and this was the spot! I got such refreshing, restful sleep every night in this absolutely quiet, tiny (but airy) playhouse of a cottage, thanks to the super cozy and comfy bed! It was all just so sweet—even if, as I did, you just want to hang out and read as you listen to the rain all day. Grand Marais is only eighteen minutes...

« So many wonderful things about our stay: the yurt itself (clever and comfy), our host (so helpful and friendly), and the local area (when they say birders are welcome, they mean it). We came up to spend the weekend for our 30th anniversary and added to our bird life list. Memorable, and very much worth a repeat stay. This yurt takes "glamping" to the next level, so if you've ever camped and loved it... we highly recommend! »

« Our family had a wonderful stay at the Duluth home for our Christmas vacation! Morgan was a very responsive, kind and helpful host, and the home was set up with everything we needed. My Florida kids had their first real snow experience, and were thrilled to play in the huge yard, watch a family of deer right outside, and roast marshmallows by the fire pit.
