« This very clean and comfortable cabin is in a quiet, peaceful location. It had everything we needed and we had a wonderful week of vacation.There are several several fishing, boating and hiking options within a short drive. The International Wolf Center and North American Bear Centers are less than an hour away in Ely and there is another bear sanctuary a short drive from the cabin.We highly recommend it! »

« So many wonderful things about our stay: the yurt itself (clever and comfy), our host (so helpful and friendly), and the local area (when they say birders are welcome, they mean it). We came up to spend the weekend for our 30th anniversary and added to our bird life list. Memorable, and very much worth a repeat stay. This yurt takes "glamping" to the next level, so if you've ever camped and loved it... we highly recommend! »

« Very much appreciated the host’s quick response when we were lost and unable to find the cabin. It was cozy and we like small cabins, but a car boy of potable water and a sink with a bucket to collect wash water would have been helpful. Also, the path to the outhouse was submerged under a few inches of water - maybe some wood chips would be helpful? We constructed a bridge with rocks and wood blocks just to get to the outhouse. »

« The cabin was perfect for a north shore getaway. Coffee was ground and ready to be brewed. All of the utensils are available to make meals. Hot Shower felt good after a day out in the elements. Bed was comfortable and the flat screen tv was loaded with streaming services for an evening movie. The only disappointment was the sauna. "La chambre était vaste et propre ainsi que la salle de bain. Le personnel était aimable. Il y avail un micro-ondes, un réfrigérateur et une cafetiÚre mis à disposition dans la chambre. Le petit-déjeuner est bien présenté, les produits sont frais et de qualité. Le parking est grand. La connexion wifi est excellente. La climatisation est bruyante, impossible de la faire fonctionner la nuit si l'on veut bien dormir."
