„I went up with my best friend to attend a wedding on a different lake in a nearby town. The location of this cottage made it easy for us to get to and from the wedding. While the cottage has lake access, it’s not any type of beach front but you can load kayaks easily. However the ease to find a public beach is easy enough. „What an amazing stay. The property is absolutely beautiful with all that you would need. The views are spectacular and we would enjoy just watching the waves, boats and birds. The property had lots of lovely little touches that you will absolutely appreciate. From s’mores sticks, binoculars, fire wood, extra blankets, a/c for the hot days. The best bit was Steve and Eva and their wonderful family. It was so lovely to get to know them and we would love to come again. “

"Poorly soundproofed, had a room with a window into the hallway outside, basically no daylight. Felt I was in the basement. Was supposed to get an upgrade. Told me they were full. Had to buses. It read vacancy outside. Mackinaw city feels like a tourist trap. If you go offseason, don’t book ahead, go to one of the many motels."
