« Our room at the Furness Mansion was spotlessly clean, tricked out with everything we could imagine needing for small meals (fridge, coffee pot, coffee, a few plates/bowls/utensils), a bidet!, well-appointed bathroom and shower, and comfy beds and linens. We loved being close to the Dunes National Park. A lovely place to stay for an evening or two. »
« Very interesting and quaint property in the woods. Great for nature-lovers. Arrived early, told we couldn't check in yet. Came back. Both times we had to hunt up a staff person not at the desk. Room was spacious (nice). Bathroom was EXTREMELY small, no safety bar in the shower. Bed not comfortable, frame sticks out on the sides. Breakfast very minimal (little biscuits and pre-portioned oatmeal cups) We would not return. »
« There is plenty of parking right in front of the building. Checking in was easy—you get the physical key from a lockbox using a 4-digit code. The place was pristinely clean.
The lake view was beautiful, and you can enjoy it from the chairs right by the door, or from inside.
My wife and I used the kayaks to explore Fox Lake, and it was a lot of fun. Even though it was my first time, it was easy to maneuver through the still water. Life jackets are conveniently kept in the brown box.

« We arrived with needing three beds and they gave us one king and a hide a bed. They were not wiling to help. Our hair dryer did not work although they did get me an empty room with a working hair dryer to use until I could go buy my own. The bathtub was very short so we just took showers. They ran out of breakfast food. »
