Our stay at this property was disappointing due to a few key issues. The rental did not include parking or facility passes, which are essential for fully enjoying Sunset Island. While we acknowledge we should have double-checked the listing details, we were surprised this wasn’t included—especially since other hosts on the island typically provide these amenities.Additionally, the AC settings were remotely restricted. We found it uncomfortable to be unable to adjust the thermostat freely, especially when we tried setting it to a reasonable 72F and it was automatically overridden. At one point, we were completely locked out of making any changes, which made the unit feel less like a guest space and more like a controlled environment.Overall, the experience fell short of expectations, and we likely wouldn’t rent this unit again. We recommend future guests confirm access details and thermostat policies before booking.
