  • The shore home was built in 1883. The renovation went through a challenging and arduous process in order to preserve the historical exterior architectural components. The interior has been completely redesigned with large communal spaces perfect for entertaining and spending time with family. The interior design features a modern coastal feel with historical touches. 5 minute walk to beach and 12 minute walk to Asbury Park boardwalk entrance!

Location was great for walking to the beach and nearby Asbury Park for restaurants/shops. It was big enough to accommodate our multi-generation family trip and had baby-friendly amenities like pack and play and high chair. The host was very communicative and even came by quickly when we were having issues with the grill. We would be happy to stay here again on future trips!

Amazing house in great family neighborhood

Beautiful home, fully stocked and incredibly comfortable. Lots of room for families. Great location with easy walk to beach and few blocks from charming downtown. We look forward to coming again soon!

Wonderful Memorial Day Gathering

We had a lovely time in Ocean Grove. The home is beautiful, spacious and modern for our three families. John is very responsive and a great host to make sure we had everything we needed. We will be back!

Beautiful home in great location. Quiet, close walk to the beach, all the amenities and supplies you could need. We appreciated the beach passes and walked to the beach daily. Host was easy to contact and very attentive. Highly recommend this property!

Great off-season getaway!

Our group had a terrific time in this beautifully renovated classic home. John, the owner, was especially helpful when booking the property and making our plans. The town of Ocean Grove was quaint and the walk to Asbury Park and its sights and restaurants was enjoyable as well. Highly recommend!

WOW, the home and service sure did exceed all expectations! I booked this beautiful home for my wedding weekend for family and friends to stay and everyone loved it. I want to thank the owner, John, for his efficient and timely communication with us. The home was clean, linens were fresh and location was perfect. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back again soon!

Great House, Great Location, Great Host!

Beautiful house! Large enough for our family of 12 with space to spare. Awesome location: quiet street and only blocks from the beach. Great beach for boogie boarding, body surfing, sand castle building, or just relaxing. Host was super nice and responded very quickly. I highly recommend staying here!!

Stunning home!

We had our family girls weekend in asbury park this weekend and were thrilled with the home! It was the perfect accommodation for all 10 of us. The weather was terrible all weekend so having this beautiful home to hang out in was incredible. The owner is very responsive. We will definitely be back!

Amazing House!!

This house was awesome for a large group. Plenty of room for everyone and the 2 common spaces were great hang out areas. The kitchen was huge and had plenty of utensils, pots, pans etc. The whole house is beautiful and newly renovated. It also only a few minute walk to the boardwalk. Definitely recommend!

Amazing house. Very clean

The perfect weekend getaway for a bigger group. Many bedrooms. Every room was immaculately clean. The game room on the third floor has a ping pong table which was really cool. Host was very responsive. I would give this property 6 stars if I could. 10/10 would stay here again!

Everything about our stay was perfect. The house is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The location is perfect, a few blocks to the beach and even closer to a very cute main street area. The owner is very responsive and provides tons of amenities...chairs, bikes, beach toys and wagon. Our large group of family members could not stop talking about how wonderful this house was! 5+ stars! Highly recommend!

I have rented beach houses in various parts of the Jersey Shore for many summers with my family and friends. This rental house was by FAR the most clean, spacious, nicely finished, and beautifully decorated home I have ever rented. Every appliance and piece of furniture is elevated and luxurious. Everyone had their own bedroom with plenty of bathrooms to get ready in. The front porch is lovely to sit on with a glass of wine at sunset. John as a host was the most welcoming and responsive I have ever experienced. He responded to any questions extremely quickly and made sure we were taken care of the whole trip. When we realized due to the size of our group we were short 3 wine glasses, he sent over a brand new 10 pack of wine glasses and dropped them off on the doorstep within the hour. The house is truly a quick 5 minute walk to the beach and has every beach amenity you would need from towels, chairs, and umbrellas. The location is ideal as you are also close to the boardwalk and so many great restaurants. As we were checking out, my friends were texting the VRBO listing of this home to their own families, telling them they need to plan a family trip to stay here. I could not have a higher opinion of John as a host and of this rental home. 100/10 recommend to anyone with a large group looking to stay in Asbury Park.

Family Beach Trip

The property is gorgeous ! This newly renovated home had high-end fixtures and appliances, comfortable beds, and lots of equipment: multiple bicycles, beach chairs, umbrellas, carts, beach toys, etc. We tend to cook almost all of our meals, and the kitchen was well equipped. In fact, I had written to John to ask about what was provided just so I could pack what wasn’t there. John promptly provided several of the items I inquired about! John continued to be very responsive and helpful. Ocean Grove was lovely. We enjoyed the beach, the boardwalk, and the shops. We appreciated how convenient it is to travel from the metropolitan NY area to Ocean Grove. I highly recommend this property!

Great Layout, Great Location, Great Host - 5 Stars

Stayed here with three other father/son pairs while in town for a youth lacrosse tournament, and the house worked out perfectly for our group. Plenty of space—eight bedrooms meant everyone had room to spread out, and the multiple common areas gave us a great mix of hangout spots for 4 teenage boys (away from the Dads!!!).The finishes throughout the home are top notch—feels like a historic property that’s been updated the right way. The front porch was a highlight for all of us. It’s a great spot to relax after a long day, and we found ourselves out there morning and night.It’s an easy walk or quick bike ride to the beach, and we were pleasantly surprised by how much street parking was available. None of the homes in the area have driveways, but it was never an issue.Only minor hiccup was the grill not working, but John—our host—handled it exactly the way you’d hope. He responded quickly, was sincerely apologetic, and even offered to reimburse us for takeout.Overall, a fantastic place to stay with a group. Would absolutely come back.

What a beautiful house! It’s been renovated and remodeled very neatly. My friend were impressed by how clean and spacious the house is. We loved our times hanging on the porch up front. The kitchen is fully equipped and we were able to make food for 10 people. The owner was such a pleasure to work with. He answered all of our questions very quickly. The beach is only 5 minutes away and there’s plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas and 2 wagons to pull your stuff. There is a grill in the backyard in case you want to throw a BBQ party. We walked around the town and went to eat and did not need a car. Eveything is 15-20 min walk and was easy for us New Yorkers. My friends couldn’t believe how safe the neighborhood is and super quiet! I highly recommend this property and will def rent again
