Hotels nahe Old Fort Monument (Old Fort)

„Very nice location within walking distance of town, spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Housekeeping staff does need to be a little more detail oriented. Noticed an area in bathroom that should have been cleaned which apparently was overlooked. Definitely plan to stay here again when visiting the area.“

„Due to the nature of the retreat… there was no face-to-face contact w the staff but they responded promptly to text or call. Our cottage at Mitchell 2 had an excellent view of Mt Mitchell east side.“

„Nettes Hotel, sauber, gutes Frühstück, nettes Personal.“

„I stayed in the Milton room and it was beautiful. The Hotel has a very warm feeling with lots of comfortable seating downstairs to socialize. The owner sent me an email with self check-in instructions making it very easy to proceed directly to my room. She even called me leaving a message making sure I was aware of the email and asked if I had any questions. It made me feel right at home. I would definitely stay again and recommend them to any couple who wants a romantic getaway.“

„Freundliches hilfsbereites Personal, Zimmertausch ohne Probleme möglich - von Raucherzimmer zu Nichtraucherzimmer, Frühstück o.k.“

„Schönes Motel, sauber, sicher und verkehrsgünstig gelegen. Ich würde wiederkommen.“

„sadly we did not enjoy our stay and we are old house lovers - the location was great being close to town and the WIFI was excellent but the room was not what we would have expected for the price - small with tub in the middle, toilet so close to the wall it was difficult to sit on, shower that went from frigid to burning hot off & on, no soap, 1/2 bottle of shampoo, the room was too hot and stuffy even with both windows open, bed was called queen but felt more like a double, bedding had cigaret“

„Recently remodeled motel is conveniently located in Black Mountain and is a great value. The room, bathroom, and linens were very clean. Staff was very friendly.“

„Planned a short getaway to hike Mount Mitchell and this place could not have been more perfectly located to the trailhead. The Lodge is newly built, and ground are impeccably well maintained. The staff was super helpful. They even came by to drop off a lighter so the firepit could be put to use. They have a common use area with a ktichen and grills that can be utilized which is an added bonus as I don’t recall reading about all they had available to make the stay above and beyond expectations. ...

„Motel ist älteren Datums. Negativ viel auf, dass Kühlschrank nicht einsatzbereit war (war scheinbar abgetaut worden und voller Handtücher) und Mikrowelle war defekt. Positiv war das gute Frühstück.“
