„Beautiful property with easy access to trails at the national park. The hot tub was perfect and the property was very clean and well appointed. The only thing i could suggest is covering the firewood. We were looking forward to the firepit, but it rained the night we arrived and we couldn't use the wood for the rest of the trip. But that was a very minor inconvenience and there was plenty to do outside of having a campfire. Would recommend to family and would stay again!“

„We loved our stay and plan on returning in the future for a longer stay so we can experience more. It was about the same cost as a hotel stay, but with more of a home feel and a lot more room. I also enjoyed the view of the lake from our front porch. If I could suggeat one little change, maybe open the gym a little earlier than 9am, but that's all.“

„The cabin was the perfect way to spend a weekend getaway. The views at sunrise and sunset were to die for. It was just as nice spending time in the cabin as it was hiking in Shenandoah and exploring nearby Orange. The entire weekend was such a nice escape from the city. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here.“

„Very peaceful cabin immersed in nature, we had a great time. Was well stocked with firewood other essentials, which was nice. The AC did its job and kept the cabin comfortable inside during days with very high heat and humidity. Beautiful landscape lighting and retaining walls. Absolutely lovely during a rainstorm. Would recommend addressing a few minor items:‐the ramp at the top of the steps (by the screened porch) is incredibly slippery when wet, would recommend putting down some friction ...

„My friends and I had a fantastic time staying at the dancing bear. The grounds were very clean and well maintained. The host was also easy to get ahold of. There is a wonderful view from the cabin overlooking the valley below. Just make sure to bring a flashlight for the stairs leading to the firepit when going down there at night because they are unlit and one of my friends did trip when using them in the dark.“

„We came to this property after a week in DC and a few days on the Eastern Shore. Place was amazing and restful. We picked this place since it was close to President Monroe’s house; MountPelier (sp) - Dolley and James Madison’s plantation. We wander the countryside so beautiful.
