« Lovely quiet property on a working farm, well-stocked although needs USB, USB-C etc charging ports. Active but friendly dogs, so if you do not like dogs, maybe not the place for you; I enjoyed them. It was the perfect spot to explore the John Day National Monument area, and the view from the front porch was lovely. »

« We definitely will choose to stay at Life in the Woods again. The cabin was very clean, the open kitchen was well supplied, the mattresses were in great shape, the surrounding MERA is beautiful. Very quiet. Great place for a family get together. »

« This place is awesome! The views off the back patio are great overlooking the valley. Walking out the front door we were able to watch the sunset over mt. Adams. Very private. The house had all the cooking utensils needed as well as coffee. We used the wood-fired sauna and hot tub which was super cool as well as the cold plunge. Everything worked well. Even though this is off the grid it had all the modern amenities you could want. The driveway is gnarly, I don’t know that I would try it...
