„This was a lovely stay in Stanton Saint John! The cottage is clean, very nicely decorated and has enough space for 4 people. It was so nice to be able to use the garden in the summer weather on lazy days. Otherwise use the bus for a trip to Oxford or London. The Rectory Farm shop is very close and offers very fresh fruit and veg. You can even pick your own strawberries etc. We loved our stay in Oxfordshire. THANK YOU! Would absolutely recommend.“

„Beautifully situated along the canal. Short drive to Blenheim palace, Oxford or Bicester village for shopping. The cottage is clean and cosy. We had dinner at the jolly boatman on Saturday evening. We were very lucky with the weather.“

„Das Cottage ist für 4 Personen prima geeignet, gut ausgestattet und befindet sich etwas außerhalb des Zentrums in ruhiger Lage (Weg bis Zentrum: ca. 20 Minuten zu Fuß, es gibt aber auch einen Bus). Der Grund, warum ich einen Stern abgezogen habe: Uns wurde mitgeteilt, dass es zwar keinen zum Haus gehörigen Parkplatz gebe, man aber gut am Straßenrand des Viertels parken könne. "Empfang sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Rezeption hat 5 Sterne verdient. Room Service arbeitet nicht hygienisch. In 4 Tagen/3 Nächte nicht gestaubsaugt. Gebrauchte Gläser im Bad mit Lappen ausgewischt. Kopfkissen auf Fußboden geschmissen und danach wieder aufs Bett für die nächste Nacht. Rezeption hat nach Reklamation neue Kopfkissen besorgt. Restaurant/The Alice: sehr gutes Essen, aber Getränke völlig überteuert. Rechnung automatisch mit „Servicegebühr“ auch wenn der Service nicht gut war. Frühstücksbuffet mit 25£ zu teuer. Wenig Angebot, schlecht aufgefüllt. Hotel: Top (außer Room Service) , The Alice: Flop"
