This newly renovated one-bedroom unit has tons of natural light coming from floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors in all rooms, along with living room windows that face the surrounding mountains. You truly enjoy the best of indoor/outdoor living as our quiet, private patio is one of the most spacious in the entire complex. Offering picture-perfect views of the mountains all around the unit, as well as a BBQ grill and firepit, you have the opportunity to enjoy meals al-fresco, under the desert sky.

The stylish bungalow decor takes inspiration from the colors & textures of the desert landscape. Meticulous details & accents bring outdoor elements indoors, evoking a seamless experience of the soothing, natural surroundings that Palm Springs is known for.

Quiet & tranquil, our bedroom features a plush King-sized bed and soft cotton sheets to give you that perfect night of sleep. The living room is spacious and airy, with mid-century modern inspired pieces that evoke the elegance of Palm Springs` heyday. The kitchen is fully stocked, and has a dishwasher for your convenience.

Originally built in 1956 by famed architects William Krisel & the Alexanders, the Ocotillo Lodge started out as a hotel, and is one of Palm Springs` most stunning mid-century gems. It is rumored that Gene Autry himself, owner of Ocotillo Lodge from 1963-1968, regularly stayed in this unit during that time.

As a guest, you will have full access to the facilities, including the famous champagne-cork shaped pool, two hot tubs, fitness room, and lush desert landscaping. You`ll truly feel like one of the many celebrities who have frequented this famous hangout spot over the years.

You’re renting the entire unit and patio area. Make yourself at home, as everything is yours to enjoy exclusively!

Our property is professionally managed by a full service vacation rental agency, so your trip will be worry-free from beginning to end. We will take care of everything from hosted check-in to departure, and will be available for anything you need along the way. We are also available to handle any special or a-la-carte requests, including pre-arrival grocery shopping and arrangement of transportation and/or tours.
CITY OF PALM SPRINGS REGULATIONS & RENTAL RULES
(we don`t make the rules, but we do follow them!)
**No parties or large social gatherings of any kind are permitted at this location!**
Neighbors have been notified that this property is a vacation rental and are encouraged to call a hotline to dispatch authorities to investigate any disturbances. If the city issues a violation, guest will be responsible for payment of any fine(s) and may be evicted with no refund.

- Minimum age for primary renting guest is 25.
- Daytime occupancy is 6 people.
-Overnight occupancy is 2 people.
- Maximum of 1 vehicle allowed.
- The City imposes a strict noise ordinance for vacation rentals. No music is allowed outside at any time, including music coming from inside that can be heard at the property line, and no noise at all is allowed outside after 10pm.
- The City requires a signed written contract for all guests, as well as a copy of the primary renter`s government ID. This will be taken care of during check-in.
- The City requires each guest to pay an 11.5% Transient Occupancy Tax and a 1% Tourism Business Improvement District assessment for stays less than 28 days. If your stay is 28 days or more, taxes do not need to be paid.
- PLEASE NOTE: The City will begin charging guests an additional 1% Palm Springs Tourism Infrastructure District on December 1, 2026. For all bookings with checkin dates starting 12/1, guests will be responsible for this additional payment.

ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE
- Check-in time is 4PM, and check-out is promptly by 11AM.
- Our onsite greeter will meet you at the home and give you a tour.
- Late check-outs without prior approval with incur a $250 fee, as we need time to get the house ready for the next guest.

PETS
- ONLY ONE pet is allowed (per HOA rules) with a fee of $100. Pet must be approved and fee paid prior to check-in. Any signs of pets on the property without our knowledge will incur an additional $500 fee. Having more than one pet will be cause for eviction.

NO SMOKING
- The entire complex is a smoke-free property. Any signs of smoking in the unit or on the patio will incur an additional $250 fee.

INSURANCE FEE for Vrbo & Direct Bookings (does not apply to Airbnb bookings)
Guest is responsible for the service fee below, depending on length of stay:
● $99: 1-29 nights
● $450: 30-59 nights
● $150: each additional 30-night block
