„If I was to build a vacation home for myself, it would be exactly this. It is comfortable, tastefully decorated, and convenient to local attractions. The parking area is uncovered but inside the locked gate, so very secure; it was a snug fit, but with practice I was able to park my compact SUV with ease.
I stayed for a week, and it was mostly a very quiet neighborhood. The only disturbance was a troop of monkeys that gathered twice during my stay, most likely interested in nearby mango and ...

„Kitchen was old, not well equipped, lighting poor, ants everywhere especially at night. There were no shops near by, you needed a car to get to them. The gordwalk was treacherous , old and dangerous for walking, wooden boards cracked, missing and installed far aoard. Beds were nice and clean but floors were old and looking not very clean. stoned wall in the bathrooms was rough, dirty and full of insects. Shower heads were poor. “

„Baliyana Lodge is a slice of paradise - beautifully landscaped grounds among the native trees on a hillside overlooking a valley towards the ocean. Remote but only 15 mins to the beach and 25 mins to Tamarindo. The hosts could not have been nicer, wonderful, healthy breakfast included, quiet, peaceful and serene location.
