Room was spacious, nice and comfortable - and the hotel has a small rooftop terrace. Area is quiet and nice, but with a selection of amazing small restaurants close by. We will stay here again when we visit Kyoto. »

« Wonderful place to stay, we loved that the area was in a real neighborhood and not touristy. The only complaint is the main bedroom faces a an alley that has a motion activated light that shines bright on and off all night while you are trying to sleep. Dark shade would help this situation. »
« The Koubai suite was wonderful. The outdoor bath is very private and peaceful. The bed was extremely comfortable and the private garden was lovely. This is my favourite room in Japan so far! »

« We were lucky enough to spend a few days of our honeymoon at Nazuna Kyoto Gosho. This Ryokan is incredible, the staff is most welcoming and attentive to every request. Moreover the breakfast is delicious and a truly unique experience.
