„My best friend & I brought our nine year old grandsons here. As stated above, everything was fantastic, from meeting Dona' s Mom, "Mrs. A", upon our arrival to the wonderful animal tour given by Dona, complete with the boys being able to feed some of the animals, to the perfect evening with a fire, and star viewing. Dona & her Mom went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful time. We made great memories here and look forward to our next time we can come again!“

„Dona is a PROFESSIONAL exotic animal steward. They are not her “pets” though she loves them all. They were surrendered to her and her family by various people who bought them through exotic pet dealers. Do not go here expecting to hold a lemur or play with a fox. It’s an absolutely gorgeous place and an honor just to see the incredible animals she cares for. The apartment is just perfect for a nice little stay and taste of farm life“

„We stayed for a week at the end of December. The house was very nice and updated. The pool was heated which was great because there was some cooler days while we were there. The location to restaurant and grocery stores was nice. The neighborhood was okay but seemed a bit run down but we had no issues with anyone during our stay. Overall 5/5 if looking at staying in the area“

„My husband and I were looking for a quiet weekend trip, and this was the perfect place for it. We spent the days exploring Brooksville and the surrounding areas, and we spent the evenings and nights at this beautiful cottage. The space was clean, cozy, and very welcoming. Our favorite parts were relaxing in the chairs behind the barn and also watching the chickens wander around. It truly felt like an escape!“

„We wanted to take a few days and escape from the rat race of Pinellas County. Unfortunately, during the months of February-March, this area of Florida is packed with Snowbirds, Spring training fans, and early Spring breakers. Finding an affordable escape is not easy. We were fortunate to find this location in Hernando county that was quiet, affordable, and away from it all. The hosts were helpful and interested in our enjoying our stay. We would definitely like to stay here again!“

„This property was perfect for our group!!! It was clean, comfortable and we enjoyed coffee by the river each morning! Even saw an alligator swim by on one occasion. It rained pretty hard one night and we were concerned our car would get stuck at first, but it ended up being no problem. I would highly recommend this property as a wonderful getaway with plenty of privacy, but close enough for anything you need.“

„This place was a great place to stay, we had such a relaxing time and the kids had plenty to do. There were kayaks to use and we went fishing and relaxed by the fire. They even set up a projector outside and they had popcorn and which was a huge hit with the kids. Only con I would say was the camper could have been a little bit cleaner and I would say to bring your own blankets and sheets. Overall, we had a great time and Sandra was so responsive and helpful for whatever we needed.“

"Die Unterkunft war für mich als Mama mit drei Kindern wirklich toll. Das Frühstücksbuffet war abwechslungsreich und wirklich ausreichend. Das Zimmer hatte alles, was man benötigt. Die Betten waren sehr gut (nicht durchgelegen und sauber). Das Bad war sauber und angenehm in der Größe . Hervorragend war das Wasser. Es gab keinen unangenehmen Chlor Geruch und Geschmack. Jeden zweiten Tag wurde sauber gemacht, was völlig war. Das freie- und kostenlose Parken war sehr angenehm. Das wird nicht der letzte Aufenthalt im Hyett Place sein:)"
