« Great place for a short stay! Tons of accessories in the kitchen for cooking--probably once of the best stocked homes we've stayed in. Only downside (and maybe this info is in the listing and we overlooked it), but you have to walk through the front bedroom to get to the second bedroom. This also means walking into the front bedroom to get to the bathroom. My family are light sleepers, so this was somewhat annoying when someone needed to get up in the night. « We loved our stay in the cabin! The unique details, charm and beautiful surroundings made this the perfect vacation! The best part of this rental however was our host Amy and her fantastic family! Amy was attentive, gracious and went out of her way to make us feel welcome as did her family! We will definitely stay here again in future! »

« The cabin is quite large, large enough for 3 children, ages 11, 9 and 4 and 4 adults so that everyone had their own space! The lake proximity is perfect and the highlight of the weekend was kayaking. There were 4 but we could have used one more so we could all go out together. There were life jackets! The youngest loved the hot tub and it was clean! The kitchen was well-equipped. The beds were comfortable. We would return again! »

« We stayed at the home while getting our son settled in as a freshman at Virginia Tech and also spent some time enjoying the area. It's an older building in a rustic setting, but the home has been updated and we found it to be clean and comfortable. The nearby creek is lovely. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. »

« We found the house to be exactly as described, exceptionally clean and comfortable. The views from the front yard were delightful with beautiful sunrises, sunsets, as well as wildlife sightings. The private riverside access was by far our favorite component of this property. It is an exceptionally well maintained area, perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. »
