"Ein sehr tolles Hotel mit einer sehr sehr zentralen Lage und freundlichem Personal. Leider war das Badezimmer an manchen Stellen nicht gaaanz sauber, aber es war nicht weiter dramatisch. Bett war bequem, Zimmer recht klein, jedoch für ein paar Nächte mehr als ausreichen. "

"Waren für 7 Nächte im Doubletree by Hilton Downtown. Super Ausgangslage für einen Städtetrip da mehrere U-Bahn Stationen in der Nähe sind. Abends im Vergleich zu Midtown viel ruhiger. Wir hatten ein Zimmer in der 43 Etage, welches für unseren Zweck völlig ausreichend war. Ein kleiner Kühlschrank war ebenfalls vorhanden. Wir würden immer wieder dort übernachten."

"Pros: Amenities: Positive free coffee in the morning and in the room. The provided shower products are of the best quality. Location: Very good location for subway and train access. Room & Bath: The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are nice, although they are quite small. Cons: Extreme Noise Issues: Sleeping was only possible with earplugs. We could clearly hear voices from other rooms through the ventilation system, as well as loud rushing water due to poor plumbing. Unprepared Service: Our room (booked for 3) was not prepared despite us calling the day before and again 20 minutes before our midnight arrival. We had to wait over 30 minutes for basic blankets and towels. Unfriendly Staff: The front desk staff is very unfriendly and unhelpful. Illegal Resort Fees: Although "junk fees" are regulated in New York as of February 2026, they were still charging separate resort fees in March. This is unacceptable. Verdict: I do not recommend this hotel. The noise levels and lack of service make for a very frustrating stay."

"Was KI so alles hinbekommt. In Realität sieht das alles 20 Jahre älter aus. Grundsätzlich ok und auch im Eingangsbereich sehr modern und offen. Die Zimmer normaler US-Standard. Sauber immerhin - die öffentliche Bereiche sind aber sichtbar ungepflegt und schmierig. Reinigung ist dort offenbar dem Sparprogramm zum Opfer gefallen."
