The hosts were really communicative the entire time and the tenant who lives in the basement (separate entrance) was lovely and very welcoming. “

„We came for a quick weekend to scope out the area as a guest for an upcoming wedding next summer. The house was perfect and could have slept several more people! The views are spectacular and the hot tub was fabulous!“

„Our cabin was beautiful and so roomy. Loved the kitchen and not sure I’ve ever seen a bathroom as big as the master. Didn’t use the huge jetted tub but I’m sure it was relaxing. We did take advantage of the hot tub. It was a big hit with our family. Super comfy beds too. Came home one day and went to open one of the dining room windows and there laid two 8 pt bucks right outside. Liked to scared me to death. Ha. We also were greeted with two does daily. All in all a wonderful mountain ...

„Our family of six stayed in one of the tiny houses and while it was a bit of a squeeze, it was surprisingly comfortable and well equipped. Everything is beautiful and modern too! The kids enjoyed sleeping up in the loft beds. They also loved the games in the event barn, and the pool. A great spot to stay in the Montrose area!“

„We enjoyed our visit so much! Marianne was so hospitable from beginning to end, even leaving us a personalized welcome note. She was extremely helpful in helping us decide how to plan our time there because she is very well-informed about the area. The cabin is adorable and homey, with great little touches in the decorating and theme matching the area. It was a pleasure and I will enjoy going back!“

„The property was amazing, the photos do not do it justice it is beautiful. Wake up in the morning to the sunrise, relax on the front porch with the views of the huge valley and the majestic mountains, mezmerizing. Later in the day relax and watch the sunset. „We loved e erring about our stay!“

„Comfortable housing and amenities. We enjoyed our time here - 3 nights. Management was friendly and helpful. Beds were comfy. The kids liked the pool and playground and the pond with its fountains and ducks. I liked having the washer/dryer in the home. There were a few things lacking such as dish towels, kitchen utensils/colander, a couple of hand towels, and a fire starter for the community fire pit.“

"Zentrale Lage und nur 2 Minuten zu Fuß zur Seilbahn. Frühstück musste auf dem Zimmer eingenommen werden, was kein Problem war. Es gab sogar Porzellantassen. Wir durften länger den Parkplatz nutzen, da wir eine Off Road Tour gebucht hatten. Vielen Dank dafür! Zimmer sind aufgrund des Alters des Gebäudes sehr hellhörig.Wir kommen gerne wieder"

Mountain Lodge Telluride

"Die Mountain Lodge Telluride präsentiert sich als gehobenes Resort: Zimmer, Ausstattung und Pool sind zweifellos hochwertig – daran gibt es nichts zu kritisieren. Aber unser Gesamteindruck wurde durch zwei deutliche Schwächen getrübt: 1. Valet-Parken – überteuert und unangenehm: Im Ort gibt es nur kostenpflichtige öffentliche Parkplätze (z. B. an der Seilbahn für etwa 30 $/Nacht). Trotzdem erlaubt das Hotel kein Selbstparken – Gäste müssen den hauseigenen Valet-Service für 40 $ pro Nacht nutzen. Unser Fahrzeug wurde nur etwa 200 m entfernt geparkt, die Schlüssel verblieben an der Rezeption. Um etwas zu hilen muss man jedesmal an die Rezeption. 2. Keine Kulanz trotz höflicher Anfrage: Einige Tage vor der Anreise bat ich per E-Mail freundlich um eine kostenlose Stornierung wegen unerwarteter Reiseplanänderung und schlechter Wetterprognose. Die Antwort: „Nicht stornierbar, da innerhalb der 14-Tage-Frist – das Wetter soll ohnehin schön werden.“ Man bot mir zwar an, den Aufenthalt auf ein anderes Datum im Sommer zu verschieben – für uns war das aber keine Option. Auffällig: Bis dahin der war der Ton übertrieben freundlich ab da nur kühl und regelorientiert."
