« I recently had the pleasure of staying in this charming cabin. The location is absolutely stunning, surrounded by nature and by the Ausable river. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and well-equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Scot was incredibly welcoming and provided us with helpful information about the area, including great hiking trails and local attractions. « We stayed here as our son was competing in the Lake Placid Ironman. This location was perfect. Short drive to Lake Placid. The property was exactly as described and even better in person. It's cute and cozy. The Jay area is beautiful and would love to come back and hike in the area, as the cabin is close to many trail heads(short drive, under 15 minutes) Shannon's communication was outstanding! « Secluded and cozy. The kitchen had everything we could have needed to cook two delicious dinners with local ingredients from our favorite Rivermede market. (The grill was also in excellent condition) From the well kept firepit to the comfy beds, this A Frame had the perfect combination to help us wind down after our hikes. »

« Great cabin, very responsive and kind hosts, great location. We stayed for a long weekend with two little kids- great location for hiking and sight seeing. The kids loved the hot tub and loft area. The only suggestion I would have for families with kids is to bring a gate, the stairs are steep. Otherwise we had a great time. Will definitely re-book! »

« This experience was 5 star plus. As stated VRBO host are available, but you never see them. Our favorite things, Location, porch, kayaking-fishing ,swimming. The cabin reminded us of granparents and parents who lived on lakeshore road .It was too short. I have already rebooked. Look no further »

« Wonderful little property with enough wilderness to feel peaceful but not too far off the main roads. Be careful on the stairs - especially in sock feet - I’m 5’5” and was fine, my 6’6” husband was also fine but went up on all fours. Which was a laugh to see. Clean, cozy, comfortable bed, everything worked well, would love to come back someday. »

« Everything was amazing. The cabin was big and beautiful, well maintained, and very clean! The screen porch is great to have for the mornings and evenings. The lake is gorgeous and we had a great time kayaking, swimming, and fishing each day. The cabin is close to all the areas we wanted see and the things we wanted to do - hikes, picnics, little towns, ice cream (!), etc. We would 100% recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to stay in the Adirondack region! »
