« A lovely old-fashioned hotel in a stunning setting.
Comfortable, clean, cozy.
On arrival we were surprised to find nobody there even though we'd waited for reception opening time. Our keys were in a plastic bag pinned to a cork board. Explanations were confusing.
Breakfast was an epic adventure. The gas stove had broken down and a tremendous effort was made by staff to provide us with a very good Welsh breakfast that was well worth waiting nearly an hour for.

« The road house needs a good make over and a lot of money spent on it, couldnât turn on cold water tap in the bathroom, the kettle was too big to go under the tap in the sink so filled kettle using a mug, lots of linen bags lying around the stairs area. « This was the very best hotel and staff. The room was lovely. Staff were friendly, and they couldn't do enough for you. They would do anything in their power to make your stay a pleasurable experience.
I would strongly recommend the stay, with the Marina literally two minutes away, and the town center a 10 minute walk away.
My only problem was the food. It's not the best, and don't have the breakfast you'll be wasting your money, it has very poor quality ingredients. You'd be better off eating...
