First ever camping/off grid stay. We enjoyed the whole experience. Amenities were thoughtful and useful for an easier off grid stay. We would do it again.
Our stay was everything we dreamed it would be. No distractions of electronics, just time to enjoy nature. Everything we well thought out. Enjoyed our visit very much!
This locations is great! My wife and I stayed to view the eclipse, but aside from that, there is plenty to do in the area. From wineries to hiking, and even an alpaca farm! If you're staying in the colder months I'd highly recommend bringing a comforter. It can get pretty cold at night, though propane heaters are provided. We did actually have cell service (Mint and T-Mobile), so unlike other reviews we were able to use the internet. Highly recommend this cabin for couples looking for a simplistic getaway.
Pleasantly surprised with amenities that were provided. We ended up bringing more cooking items that were already provided. Informative notes posted at the site answered most questions. The charger pack provided for charging phones was great. Cell phone service was good for making a call or text. But, surfing the internet was not an option. We brought our solar system for a bit more luxury. Lights for inside, and power for coffee grinder. Pottery shops are near by for touring and shopping. Went to the Glenn Curtis museum, which was great! An alpaca farm was near by as well. Very nice location!
One note to pet owners: watch your pets for ticks. We had a number of ticks we had to address on our pet. Obviously this is not the owners fault. We were camping!
Absolutely LOVED this cabin! Everything we needed was already there. The owners were extremely down to earth and checked in frequently to make sure our stay was comfortable. Canât wait to go again!!
