« I loved the concept. However, it was a muddy mess to get back there. I don’t mind mud but you can’t carry everything back with you. I think they could put a path way with wood berms or hravel. I fell and slid in mud so walking back with a clean change of clothes impossible because your most definiy gonna fall i. the mud. loved the animals though »

« An absolutely beautiful setting, the cabin is a perfect getaway if you’re looking for something more remote and away from the summer crowds of Bar Harbor. The host is very responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to this area. We enjoyed the fire pit, the canoe, watching the various birds and wildlife, and getting local seafood from Winter Harbor and cooking in a few nights.
