Great spot in great location

Perfect in every way
We were very impressed with our accommodations! The apartment, the yard, pool, … everything was beautiful! Our hosts, Russell and Ingrid, were very accommodating, in providing something if we needed it, or helping us with directions, etc. The four legged foot warmer was a bonus! Their dog was very friendly and well behaved. We loved having him around and he figured that out right away. He would lay on our feet or come by for a pet if we were lazing around by the pool or our lanai area.
Beach chairs and umbrellas are provided for the beach which is just a short walk away.
We stayed in this apartment for 7 weeks and felt very much at home. We hated to leave!
Highly recommend this property for a shorter or longer stay. You will not be disappointed.

We had a wonderful time here. Ingrid was there most of the time and was so helpful and friendly and accommodating. Anything we needed to know she had the answer. The unit was more than adequate. The yard and patios and pool and sitting area by the pool were lovely. Getting around was so handy. It’s near everything. You can rent a bike or take a mini bus or big bus or taxi or walk to where you need to go. Getting to the beach is a short and lovely walk. The beach and Ocean were beautiful. There are lots of food venders along the main road and tons of restaurants to choose from. And many Oxxo stores for a quick pick up of something. We would go back every year as long as life cooperates. Thanks Russell and Ingrid. You have a great set up there.

A great experience at Russell and Ingrid's
My husband and I just returned from a six night stay in Unit #1.
We felt very much at home during our stay. All the basic amenities were provided in the unit including a wonderful welcome basket with some treats. We were also impressed to have adequate supplies of drinking water provided along with enough kitchen supplies to cook our basic meals and a very clean well-furnished sitting area along with outdoor chairs to enjoy the sunny patio. The unit had tasteful and comfortable furniture and the king size bed was great. There is more than adequate storage space for suitcases/clothing in the bedroom.
One of the qualities we loved about this unit was the ability to have tons of natural lighting and it felt very secure. The pool area was refreshing although a bit loud with the traffic during the day that can be heard through the back fence.
Any questions we had were addressed very quickly by the owners and they were kind enough to lend us beach chairs that were useful at the excellent beach about 600 meters away. There were nearby bus stops and quality restaurants and shops within a 10 minute walk.
We would, without hesitation, choose to stay at Ingrid and Russell’s property in the future as they are gracious hosts.

An okay property, but there are some things to be aware of...
We loved the private setting of this property. We were in the front unit, "Cozy" and we found for the most part it was very quiet. We could sit on the front deck and enjoy the peacefulness of the front yard and seldom see or hear another person. For the most part, we did not hear the other tenants in the unit beside us or above us. We did have some problems at the end of our stay when a group of young people came and were quite loud late at night when they came home from partying. Ingrid did address the problem with them.
The pool and backyard are lovely and quite private. The only problem is that the backyard is on a busy main street of Nuevo Vallarta so there is a fair amount of traffic noise. We preferred to spend our time in the front where you could not hear the traffic.
The layout of "Cozy" is perfect for a couple. The king-size bed is very comfortable and it is easy to regulate the temperature in the unit by using fans or the air conditioner. We found that for the most part we did not need the air conditioner except for our last few nights when we required some white noise while we slept. The unit contains the basic things for preparing simple meals, but they are not in the greatest condition and at times we had to be creative to find ways to a solution. For example, using a plate for a lid on some of the pots, making tea in a pot because the kettle was corroded. There were a few things that while they were liveable, they are reasons we do not consider this place to be a 4 or 5 star accommodation. For example, when the sheets were changed after our first week, the top sheet was extremely pilly.
The unit is in need of some TLC. While basic cleaning has been done, it needs a deep clean. There are cosmetic repairs that need to be done as well as some basic maintenance, like fixing the loose toilet seat. We provided Russell and Ingrid with a list of some of the things we thought needed to be done as well as some suggestions to make guests' stays a little better - like providing more tea towels and hand towels for people staying a week. There is no laundry facility for guests to use at the house at this point, but Russell does have plans to put something in place.
We think it is also important that people are aware that the beach is very close by, but there are no beach chairs, blankets, umbrellas or coolers available in the unit for you to use at the beach. You do receive two beach towels to use around the pool.

Great location
The owners are wonderful and are wanting to make your stay comfortable. We were close to restaurants, stores and the beach., which is great. The unit #1 is in need of some updates which the owners plan to do, but it very much functional. The back yard is facing the main boulevard which can be noisy at times of the day. Overall we would recommend this if you want to be close to everything.

Perfect place to kick back or go to the action!
Very happy with this unit. Great location near beaches and restaurants. Pool was very clean and sunny. Not heated so was refreshing in the heat of the day.
Bed was very comfortable. This unit is at the front of the 3 unit property which made it quiet. Well equipped for cooking when we felt the need.
Only one small request...a blow dryer would be a great addition.

Great Place to Stay in Nuevo Vallarta
We were very happy with our stay at Christmas. The upscale neighborhood of mostly single family homes was very quiet for that time. Although we had a car, the apartment was only a 10 minute walk to the beach and to a plaza with 4 or 5 nice restaurants and a convenience store. The apartment was perfect for us - 3 adults and our dog - using the comfortable king sized bed and a cot. We had everything we needed to cook breakfasts. The caretaker lived next door and the owner was accessible by phone and lived nearby. The apartment, pool, and grounds were very clean. We drove 20 minutes to get to the center of PV each night and the airport is even closer. We highly recommend this property.

Great Place
My husband and I, along with our small dog, stayed for the month of March 2016. We found that the place was quiet and very clean. The owners were very responsible and trust worthy. They responded to any of our concerns promptly and addressed any issued we had which were minor. To have a swimming pool was a delight. I would recommend staying here.

Great location and beautiful outdoor pool!
My boyfriend and I travelled to Nuevo Vallarta for the first time. We had a very relaxing and wonderful trip. We were greated at the airport by Alfonso who took us straight to the VRBO. We were pleasantly surprised by the nice one bedroom condo with lots of restaurants and things to do around. We rented bikes from the frozen yogurt shop a couple blocks away, enjoyed lots of sun and sand on the beach walking distance away and enjoyed delicious Mexican and Italian food at the restaurants around. We also went diving with Vallarta Adventures. We stayed for two weeks and it flew by! I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone! There's so much to offer for all ages!

A Wonderful Experience
My wife and I have been traveling to the Puerto Vallarta/Nuevo Vallarta area for the past 35 years. We have seen a lot of change. On every trip prior to this one we stayed in a Major Hotel for usually 2 to 3 weeks. We spend vacation time as well as business time there. This time we decided to try something different. Stay in a home setting in a community. It turned out fantastic. Obviously we pick the perfect place to stay. The place was perfect for our needs. One bedroom, kitchen and eating area and a good sized living and entertaining area. Not huge but very accommodating. The best part of this rental was the owners obviously understand modern day living needs. Most hotels in the area are lacking in 2 things… the number of electrical outlets and good internet service. I was never at a loss for finding a power outlet and the internet speed was fantastic. I conduct business on the internet most of the time I am work in Nuevo and never had a problem with speed when hooked up to the internet. A plus is that each of the three units have their own router.
The unit was clean and nicely furnished. The bed was awesome. While we were there the owners/workers were doing some renovation to the units and property…. But they made sure we were not affected by the project.
The location is great. It is a couple of miles from WalMart and the mall. A taxi to WalMart or to the Paradise Village Plaza is $35.00 Pasos… (About $2.00 USD). Our office is at Paradise Village Plaza and we took the taxi most days. The Taxi company is very responsive and picked us up in about 5 minutes of our call. Restaurants are all around you. Most are about an 8 to 10 minute walk, as is the beach. We walked to the beach at a very leisurely pace and it took 10 minutes. It is a very nice large beach with a small convenience store for beach items for rent and sale. There is also a restaurant there.
All in all it was a wonderful experience and we will stay here again..
