Das Zinmer hat bessere Zeiten gesehen: Safe funktionierte erst nach Reparatur, die Waage weder vorher noch nachher, der Schrank ging aus dem Leim, die Kommode löste sich auf, Die Klimaanlage kühlte gut, es wurden aber alle Textilien feucht und es roch unangenehm, Da wir nur englisch als Fremdsprache beherrschen und kein Spanisch war die Kommunikation schwierig bis zu unfreundlich. Da wir sehr viel Seegrass am Strand hatten, war das Schwimmen im Merr nicht möglich und der Gestank hat uns nach 3 Tagen veranlasst in ein anderes Hotel umzuziehen.

The staff was kind and outgoing. The room was clean and the resort provided daily housekeeping. The food was alright in the buffet. The steakhouse was delicious. The beach was clean and had plenty of seating.

Overall the hotel was ok. The staff was extremely friendly which made the trip better. However the rooms were not the cleanest and had a strong mold smell. Looked outdated and very used. The towels were very old and worn out. The buffet area staff were very friendly but the place was very dirty. The tables and chairs always had food droppings on them. The floor was very slippery.I even saw roaches in the common area and even on the booth chairs more than once which I did bring to the waitress attention. They would not leave us alone from the moment we got there trying to sell us an upgrade to Diamond club. Would not recommend staying here.

The shower in our suite would not turn on the rain waterfall head. We asked them twice to come fix it, it would hold for a half a shower when they fixed and then nothing. We finally gave up and just used the body handheld shower to which we had to crouch down to wash our hair. The staff on sight weren’t friendly. Some were. But the waiters and waitresses walked around like they hated their job. It definitely brought the mood down. The bartenders, again most of them just hated their job. I heard multiple people around the resort say this as well. Then the restaurants, they say is reservation free. However, every single night we had to be there for 5:30pm to lineup until 6-6:30 and then finally get a “reservation” for 7:30-8pm. The whole process was very disorganized. No one would give you a straight answer and it nearly caused fights in the lines with other restaurant goers. Finally one morning we decided to order room service since we’d had enough of the loud buffet, she said it was be an hour. still no food after an hour and a half. I finally called and asked where it was to which she told me they didn’t have any carts left today so they didn’t make our food. Said we could walk down and get our food but to give them 20 minutes to make it. I told them it was unacceptable not to call, not to tell us anything about just deciding not to make our food so I asked if the buffet was still open, no. Closed. She understood I was upset and eventually had food made 2 hours later

We had a great time myself, my wife and our 2 children at the Royalton Bavaro resort in Punta Cana. Staff were friendly, food was excellent and offering alot of different options. We had the presidential suite that offered more than enough space for our family. We had a great vacation. A special thanks to our concierge, Joselito, who was a great help in making sure we had reservation for the excellent restaurants!

The staff and service are excellent. The rooms are clean and very nice. However if every room is designed like ours, it is not good for families with children because there is no privacy for shower or bathtub. Our room was very musty and damp. We went there to have a nice relaxing vacation but our first full day there every time we went in or out, we were bombarded by someone wanting to talk to us about the Diamond Club. Also, it was difficult to relax on the beach because of vendors coming around to sell their items. We enjoyed the lazy river and the pool areas were clean and very nice.

Property was very nice, our room and the ocean water were beautiful, and I would even say all the staff were pleasant. However, some of the frustrating things we delt with were such turn offs we will not return. We had to request towels and toilet paper 4 times before they brought it to us, check in and out took almost an hour - each. The food was okay, but I would not say it was great and it was so Americanized I didn't feel like I was in Punta Cana. Also can't forget how the roof started leaking and I was getting rained on at the blackjack table :). Our driver said this was the best resort around and while it was beautiful resort - based on our experience we won't return and would likely go to another resort or part of the island.

I appreciated most of the staff's attentiveness especially the individuals working at the beach. The property is mostly well kept except that the so-called children's areas could be better kept. The mini golf was fun, but the course is in terrible condition. I was also disappointed that the college "spring breakers" were allowed to bring alcohol and leave their glasses in the lazy river where children are supposed to be. It seemed that there was little control of that area. The food was mediocre at best- I was disappointed with the Zen restaurant experience after waiting for a late reservation - I would recommend avoiding it. And here's a wild idea, how about featuring a restaurant with local foods - after all you are in the Dominican Republic which is a country with a rich culinary tradition. Our room was clean and well stocked, although it needs a little updating - some of the cabinets have seen better days. One of the showerheads was also not working, but I was informed it would be repaired. Overall a decent experience.

Checkin process was terrible and what was promised was not delivered. Told we were gonna be on one side building 14 and was pushed to another building facing a road and the back of another building. Due to another customer extending their stay while others came and recorded rooms in other buildings with no issue.

This property catered to college kids during spring break. This was not very family friendly. There are no kids activities. Paid extra to select our room and did not get the room that I paid for. In order for me to get the refund, they gave me a contract to sign which stated I wasn't able to speak about the incident which I declined. We didn't let small inconveniences ruin our vacation but this is not somewhere I would return.

Staff is rude and unpleasant. Food is mediocre at best. Hotel is nice and beach and pools were pleasant. Service is a high priority for me and I wouldn’t come back given the poor service and rude staff.

long wait to check in and upon being checked in another long wait as the clerk could not find rooms and the key machines kept going down several time.I specifically requested on line for our rooms to be in the same building but was told no such request was made.Then I was told to take one room for now and come back at 8 pm and if there was another room available I can have it. Again I waited for a while eventually i got my key activated.This went on since 2.00 pm upon arrival from a very long journey.Donald at the desk was very helpful in resolving this matter.He had to get authorization from the front desk manager several times as he appeared to be available every time.
