Parking was a problem. It is a condo on the 20th floor in the Skyhouse building. We were given a card key for access to the parking deck that never worked. We were told to park on the street, but it was metered during the day. The host did pay or reimburse us for costs, but it was definitely a hassle.
The apartment is cozy, meaning small. But definitely a lack of amenities:
- There were no places for our luggage, like a luggage stand or dresser or table. We had to put them on the floor.
- There was only one towel rack for 2 people in the bathroom. There were also no plastic or paper cups available for rinsing, so we had to use glass in the bathroom.
- We were there for a week but were only given 1 towel, 1 wash cloth per person. And we shared one hand towel.
- The wifi was unclear, as there was a modem/router in the closet and one on the floor of the bedroom. Turns out the bedroom was the right one. The equipment on the floor was a tripping hazard.
- No bedside lamp or light, so needed to use the wall switch for an overhead light.
- The bed was a full size bed, not a queen size bed.
- Lighting in the bathroom was low, which made it hard to put makeup on.
- Following missing items in the kitchen: wine opener, bottle opener, mugs for coffee/tea, coffee maker, kettle, pot holder, dishwasher detergent, trash can.
- There was only one chair for a breakfast bar (an office chair)
Also missing were any kind of instructions in the room (wifi, garbage, move out).
