„We had a fantastic stay at the Hideaway in Hays Beach. We were coming up to see our 93yr old Grandmother who lives about 45 minutes away. Our families rented two homes in the area and were able to enjoy our time with three generations that aren’t able to see each other often. The home was exactly as shown, perfectly decorated and incredibly well stocked! We’d absolutely come back!“

„My sister and I have always wanted to visit Smith Island. This house was perfect! Well appointed, comfortable, great location and terrific host. The golf cart was such a huge bonus. We had amazing water tours, walked, relaxed, spotted more birds than we could count. Everyone on the island was beyond friendly. Just had a wonderful time which was amplified by the great accommodations! “

„Took my grandson for a weekend trip to Smith Island to celebrate his HS graduation. My daughter, also, accompanied us, since I am a 90 year old "Grammy", and need some assistance. Our cottage was clean, comfortable and had all of our needs. The host, Kim, was extremely attentive, and made our dinner the night we arrived so we could just relax. „Pictures and description don’t do the views enough justice. Having the Bay in front and the pond/inlet behind you allowed you access to whatever kind of water day you wanted. Neighbors were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We enjoyed the beach, kayaking out back, and the multitude of searing options/fire pits to enjoy the view. Would love to stay again!“

„This house is beautiful and has everything anyone could ask for. The scenery is spectacular too. We enjoyed sitting outside watching the sun set, just listening to the water and enjoying a fire on the beach. The kitchen is any cook's dream! "Das Hotel kann man für eine Nacht empfehlen aber nicht für länger. Alles sehr einfach, keine Reinigung, sehr hellhörig, die Klimaanlage von drüber tropft draußen auf das Fensterbrett und nervt. Frühstück sehr einfach auch wenn dafür viel angeboten wird aber nichts gemütliches. Pappgeschirr und Plastik Besteck. Der angebotene Pool war bei 40 grad im Schatten leider nicht geöffnet Das Zimmer war am Anreisetag sehr klamm und feucht, der Fußboden nass. Nach 2 Tagen hatten wir dann die Klimaanlage endlich richtig eingestellt. Dadurch war aber auch das Bett sehr klamm, Papier was im Zimmer lag war nass Insgesamt würden wir in dieses Hotel nicht wieder gehen und auch nicht empfehlen Wir waren 5 Nächte dort und bekamen nur 1 Satz Handtücher "
