« Pat and Ken were lovely and attentive hosts! Firefly Cottage was a welcoming refuge with many amenities that made our stay so enjoyable- the backyard kiddie pool and hot tub were a hit with our family, and the backyard butterfly garden, fire pit, and ample seating was a joy. As a family of 3 with a child aged 6, we very much appreciated all of the snacks and drinks in the kitchen, and ample linens. « Beautifully decorated old rock home. Everything you need with a charming porch. Surprised to find air conditioning which was needed in 100 degree heat. We could hear the Potomac River but too much vegetation and trees to see it. Close to a boat ramp and picnic area down the road. Lots of stairs but still highly recommend. »

« This is a beautiful lakefront house for a small family. We have traveled to DCL multiple times as a family of 4 with two young kids and we bring our own boat this was the best trip thus far. The back yard is perfect if you want to fish, play catch and at night sit around the fire pit. Other than to sleep and when it rained we spent all our time in the backyard or on the lake. Inside the house was very clean and everything you need. Sandy was a great host with quick communication. »

« Wow. A great property with the most beautiful view. 270 degrees of Dogwood Harbor. Great privacy and solitude. Wonderful space with powerful AC even in 90+ degrees and humidity. Maria was a very responsive host answering questions within minutes of me contacting her. Her recommendations were spot on. We spent time on the river, at great museums, and a delicious food. I would highly recommend this place for a couple that wants a wonderful weekend away from the rat race. »
