We stayed for 10 nights while visiting our son who is studying in Rome.
Being from Chicago, we are used to walking city blocks, making the most from smaller spaces, navigating heavy foot traffic and shopping at smaller markets. The location of this apartment included everything we’re used to from home! However it was very quiet. We could not hear much traffic noise and the buildings entrance offered a center courtyard between the 4 buildings.
The apartment itself is completely modern. The bedrooms were large and the beds are very comfortable. One bedroom had a dresser, the other had a wardrobe for hanging clothes (and hangers) as well as drawer space.
The two bathrooms were fairly identical with new cabinetry, shower and fixtures. Great water pressure and hot water quickly.
The living space was a nice area, easy to relax in. TV had at least 1 HDMI cable that we could plug in our own cords and watch our TiVo Stream from home through our phone app (I still think that’s crazy).
Restaurants/cafes and shopping surround the apartment. We did not use the Rome Metro service as its timing is notorious for being unreliable. We used ittaxi app to travel greater distances, otherwise we walked. We did actually walk to/from the train station but be warned, it’s a one hour walk. Although it’s full of beautiful architecture.
The Vatican is a 10 minute walk, all the other major sites are 20-30 minutes.
I highly recommend this listing. Communication was great too.
