Das Penthouse besteht aus 2 Schlafzimmern, von denen eines mit einem Doppelbett und einem Badezimmer ausgestattet ist. Das andere ist ein Wohnzimmer mit einer Küchenzeile und einem Schlafsofa. Rundum gibt es eine Panoramaterrasse mit Blick auf Rom. Es ist möglich, draußen mit dem Grill zu essen. Auf der Terrasse gibt es Spielgeräte für Kinder und Erwachsene, wie Tischfußball. Draußen gibt es ein Waschbecken und eine Dusche. Zum Sonnenbaden werden Hängematten und Sonnenliegen angeboten.


Ideal für diejenigen, die einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt nur einen Schritt von den Schönheiten Roms entfernt verbringen möchten.

Die Wohnung verteilt sich auf zwei Schlafzimmer, eines mit Bad und ein Wohnzimmer mit Küchenzeile, das Schlafsofa ist komfortabel und geräumig. In der Mitte können Sie über einen großen Eingang frühstücken. Rundum ist es von einer Drehterrasse umgeben und bietet einen Blick von den Castelli Romani nach Montemario, wobei Sie die Schönheit der römischen Dächer bewundern können.

Ein tadelloses Panorama der ewigen Stadt wird Sie atemlos machen.

Das Penthouse befindet sich nur wenige Gehminuten von der Basilika San Giovanni und der Scala Santa entfernt. Kolosseum, Forum Romanum, Piazza Venezia sind ganz in der Nähe.

Das Viertel ist sehr zentral gelegen und bietet eine sehr kommerzielle Straße wie die neue Via Appia sowie eine hervorragende Anbindung an das historische Zentrum. Es gibt viele Restaurants verschiedener ethnischer Gruppen, Pubs, Apotheken, Kinos und alles, was Sie sonst noch brauchen. Ein Lebensmittelgeschäft befindet sich direkt unter dem Erdgeschoss des Gebäudes.
San Giovanni ist eine der am dichtesten besiedelten Gegenden Roms, gekennzeichnet durch den Lateranpalast und die berühmte Basilika San Giovanni in Laterano.
In ganz Italien bekannt, weil auf dem Hauptplatz vor der Basilika jeden ersten Mai das berühmte Konzert stattfindet, bei dem eine große Anzahl italienischer und ausländischer Musikgruppen auf der Bühne stehen.
Neben der Basilika befindet sich die Scala Santa, die sich der Überlieferung nach aus 28 Stufen zusammensetzt, die von Jesus zurückgelegt wurden, um nach Pontius Pilatus zu gelangen. Oben auf der Treppe befindet sich die Kapelle Sancta Sanctorum, in der sich einige der wichtigsten christlichen Relikte befinden.


Die Anbindung an Bahnhöfe und Flughäfen sowie an U-Bahnen und Busse ist hervorragend.

Das Apartment ist vom Flughafen sehr gut erreichbar und nah genug an der City, so dass man keine unschönen langen Wege machen muss. Einkaufsmöglichkeit, Busse und Metro in direkter Umgebung. Super Dachwohnung mit riesiger Terrasse in sehr gepflegtem Haus. Die Vermieterin, Elisabetta, ist vor Ort und sorgt für unkomplizierte Abläufe. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und haben Rom so wirklich genossen!

Charming Penthouse in Rome
The Penthouse is charming, quiet, nice and tidy. Everything you need is there. The neighbourhood is nice and you have shops, Restaurants and Bars around. You can reach the ancient town by foot in half an hour. A Metro Station is just around. The roofgarden is not new but it‘s wonderful. We loved our stay in Rome. Perfect for two people.

a PERFECT place to stay when in Rome!
I'm very glad we found this very unique penthouse for our stay in Rome. A big apartment well located in Rome close to the Tuscolana station and major bus lines are easy to reach as well. The big rooms in the apartment are all very clean and nicely decorated. It has a new bathroom with - if you need it - even a washing machine. The place offers nearly everything you could need on your vacation. The roof top outside terrace at first looks like it could use a bit of renovation, but on second thoughts that would ruin it's quite unique charme! THE VIEW over Rome (and since the terrace goes around the entire appartment you can look from so many points in all directions) IS AMAZING. You can't see the main attractions, but you can have a very good look on Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano from up there, which is easy to reach taking a nice walk through the neighbourhood. Lovely flowers and plants make the terrace very cozy and you can see that the host really invests a lot of love to keep the entire place in it's perfect shape. Supermarkets are close by and they sell eatable bread rolls and nice tasting Cornetti. Communication with the host was very pleasant from the beginning to the end. Starting right after booking the host puts a lot of effort in making the guest feel comfortable. The host put together a ton of useful information and very good tipps how to get to the apartment and where to find the best locations in Rome. Thanks a lot. Everything was just perfect!

Great apartment! Beautiful penthouse apartment with a great roof terrace, cool to return to after sightseeing , very well equipped (towels, bathrobes, sheets, soap, cooking ...) and clean. The apartment has everything you need for a very enjoyable stay. Two minor remarks: temperature in the shower did not work very well and the sound of the elevator was a bit disturbing. Convieniently located, italian neighbourhood, no tourists. 20 min by bus 85 to city center and there is a metro station just few blocks away. We were happy to find a plenty of shops at few meters from the apartment like supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants, pizza take away and so on. The reception by the owner, Elisabetta, was excellent. She was very helpful. We highly recommend Elisabetta and her apartment to anyone wanting to stay for a short or long stay in Rome!

Stunning views of the city!
The location of this home is absolutely breathtaking! It is located on the 10th floor and is the penthouse suite. You have an enormous wrap around patio that gives you full views of every part of Rome. Elisabetta was very thorough in explaining the home, and great with quick communication. The home was exactly as advertised, very functional and clean. We 100% would rent this home again and would recommend to all our friends and family! Thank you!

Nice but, Deceptive and Incomplete Description
The listing stated a hot tub was included on the roof deck when in fact, there was not. The owner looked puzzled when I asked after a long trip and a day of high summer temperatures. She then said, “the picine? and went to a closet and pulled out two 6’0” diameter kiddie pools and decided to fill one with a hose. She left and asked me to shut the hose off when it was full. I really couldn’t believe it. The pool leaked and in 5 hours was empty. It also should be noted that after ascending 9 floors by elevator, you have to travel up another flight of stairs to get to the penthouse on the 10th floor. An additional city room tax of $20.00 was requested by the owner that I paid via PayPal. These issues, in my view, constituted deceptive or incomplete advertising.

Had a great experience staying here. The host was so sweet and even got us laundry detergent. The location is outside of the center but still close enough to easily get to various locations. If taking a cab, roughly 20 min from all major tourist stops.

Very nice apartment and view from roof
This apartment is very spacious, well furnished, comfortable, and clean. Our host, Elisabetta, had great communication with us. It is located about a 7 or 8 minute walk to the metro and 4 or 5 minutes from the train station. The view from the rooftop is incredible, but it is not in very nice condition. It wasn't very clean and there was no umbrella. The vegatation from the rooftop planters did not match the pictures (we visited in early June). For us, it didn't create the atmosphere where you wanted to sit and have a drink as we anticipated based upon the photos. We also didn't have water pressure until the afternoon prior to our departure, so we had to take a very cold "camp style shower" for the first three days at the property (the small dribble of water was cold and I assume it was because it didn't accumlate enough water pressure for the water heater to heat the water). It was explained to us this impacted all of the local neighborhood. Elisabetta was in constant communicaition with us trying to resolve the issue and ultimately hired a local plumber to create a temporary solution for us, so we didn't allow this to have a significant impact on our rating. From the beginning, Elisabetta was up front when we checked in and left us 6 large bottles of water and a very lovely bottle of wine. Despite the challenges from the water pressure we enjoyed our stay and the surrounding area.

This was a great property away from the busy tourist area. It was close to the train station for traveling into the heart of Rome for sight seeing. The property was clean, and a great place to relax after a long day of walking the city. Wonderful experience
My wife and I spent her 70th birthday in Rome. Our place was everything described. Clean, well equipped for cooking breakfast (or other meals had we chosen). Elizabetta met us and gave an overview of the place (even a bottle of wine awaited us). She had great suggestions as where to eat and explained the metro. Entire place was renovated and nicer than most vrbos weve stayed at. Metro and trains only couple blocks away. Elisabetta was open to us staying a bit longer since our train wasnt until noon. We both recommend her place and should we ever return to Rome we would consider staying there again.

The apartment is very clean, quiet, and in a secure location (gated complex and keyed building door). Although we were very happy with the location, it is pretty far from the typical tourist locales, making it necessary to use the often crowded metro system. Importantly, the bed was very comfortable. I will recommend this rental to others who plan to travel to Rome.

A nice clean penthouse apartment with a personal roof and great views of Rome. All appliances including A/C worked fine. The only drawback is location: a bit far from city center but that's not a big deal. Still worth 5 stars, a good value.
