« Friendly staff and was given a very clean and nicely finished en-suite room. The hotel appears to be recently refurbished and is in great condition with good attention to cleanliness.

« We enjoyed very much this hotel. Very accessible. Unfortunately, the sheet of one of the bed was dirty. Make sure to verify once you get into the room. I was surprised as everything else was very clean. Breakfast in the morning was great. »

« This stay at Blackthorn went above and beyond what I needed - some time and space for myself to write. In the comfort and peace of this hut in this location, I was able to write nearly 10,000 words, unheard of in my everyday busy life at home! The hut was perfect, the bed extremely comfortable with high-quality linens and duvet/pillows. Kitchen very well-supplied with everything I needed (and more). « This was a great place to stay. The room was simple but clean and had everything I needed for my two night stay. There is no AC, but it was perfect with the windows open during the day. It's a little bit of a walk from the main area that most people would want to explore, but the bus comes right outside, so it's easy! I'd stay here again :) »
« Beautiful place, room was lovely and had everything you could need. No evening chef (which we knew about before arrival) - had a great meal at Dolce Vita in Catterton.
Bed was comfy, shower was a bit "trickly".
Breakfast was good and staff were so friendly.
