Went to check in after booking room through Expedia, hand them my credit card and drivers license, they said I need a $100 security deposit, I said thatās fine you can put on my card. Well they proceeded to say I needed a $100 cash security deposit, I told them I didnāt have that much cash on me, they said go next door to the gas station to get it out of the atm, I said no and to cancel my room through them & Expedia. There is a charge on my credit card statement that I used to reserve my room, and it is next to impossible to talk to a live person at Expedia. The whole deal seemed extremely shady to me, and I am extremely frustrated with Expedia which I used all the time for work travel up to this point.
