Perfect Place for a Family Reunion
Right on Mission Bay, with grass and then lots of sand for children to play in, plus equipment and toys supplied by hosts. So easy! And right next to the fish, ducks, and macaws at the Catamaran Resort, with an excellent restaurant and pool in warm weather. Sunsets and surf are just one short block away,,,as are many breakfast places. This was our 4th visit to the property; we've stayed in both the 1st and 2nd floor units; each has its advantages, depending on ages of young children. And the hosts go our of their way to make one feel welcome and comfortable! We look forward to returning on our next visit to family in San Diego.

Relaxing & Enjoyable!
We loved staying at this beach front property on the bay! The location was perfect! It was a close walk to great restaurants and breweries! We rented bikes and had a pleasant ride along the bay and the beach! We had access to the resort pool, spa & their arcade! Bob was wonderful and very attentive! He gave us great recommendations and answered all our questions. Can't wait to go back again!

Amazing Location and Amenities
We loved our stay at Bob and Miriam’s condo on Mission Bay. The location can’t be beat and offers excellent amenities including a clean, safe beach for the kids to play, great restaurant, pool and arcade next door and central location to all major San Diego attractions. The condo itself is very spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay with our four young children. Bob and Miriam went out of their way to make our kids feel special (providing lots of toys/beach gear, setting up a beach fire, etc) and we can’t wait to return again in the future!

Amazing stay!
Perfect quiet location right on the beach and walking path. Two blocks to the ocean. We stayed here with our kids - 9 and 7 and loved it. Walk to everything. The place was stocked with everything we needed for the beach including chairs and boogie boards! We can’t wait to come back!

Nice bayside people watching
Rented this first level condo to take my elderly parents to the beach. Because my Dad has very limited mobility, I knew he would enjoy sitting on the patio looking at the water and the people walking, running and biking by... we all enjoyed sitting outside. The beds were comfortable, kitchen well equipped (appliances were old but functional), and the parking was very convenient. We took advantage of the pool privileges next door...thank you for providing that. The only thing that was an issue for us, was that there is no AC in the unit. The windows and doors had to be kept open night & day along with floor fans to help cool down the inside...glad we stayed after Labor Day. Our thanks to the Hosts for a memorable stay.

Perfect Family Spot
We had the best time at this property! The location is unmatched with the proximity to the bay, ocean, Mission Beach, and Pacific Beach. We only drove once all week, and that was to the zoo, which is a short / easy drive away. The house is the perfect size, and the bedrooms are larger than they look in person. Having the 3 bathrooms is great too for a group. Bob (the host) was such a pleasure to visit with. We really felt at home. Thank you!!

Great location for kids
We loved our stay! Location was perfect for kids. Could walk right outside and play on the beach, lots of restaurants within walking distance, rented bikes at the hotel next door, walked down beach to park. Condo was so comfortable. Our 2yo son loved the sand toys and the yard. They had a booster seat and pack and play. Nice space to spread out and relax. Kitchen well stocked. Everything we needed including laundry which is so handy with sand and water and kids. Would definitely visit again.

Great ocean-front condo living - especially for families of young ones!
We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. My husband and I stayed with our two kids (4 & 2 year old.) The condo is RIGHT off the beach so it’s super easy to take the kids out and let them play in the sand. It’s also the bay, so zero waves and just calm shallow water which was great for the kids and allowed mom & dad to relax a bit as well. The access to the pool was awesome too and the hotel nearby is great for a quick coffee run. There’s also a really good taco stand half a block away that was awesome for a quick bite. We walked to the ocean front a bunch and really enjoyed all the restaurants and shops nearby. The condo was very clean and well appointed. There was plenty of soap, trash bags, paper towels, etc which was helpful. They also have a high chair & pack and play onsite you can use. They had fun yard games and Bob & Miriam were excellent hosts - delivering ice cream treats for the kids, sharing tips on the neighborhood, and even turning on a bubble machine for our kids to play in. My only “even better if” is that the condo is older, the kitchen especially, so the sink, fridge, dishwasher left something to be desired. However they just installed a new washer/dryer which worked great and we took full advantage of with all the beachfront living. Forgot to mention - all the beds were very comfortable as well! All in all, really great spot and would highly recommend to friends!

Wonderful property and hosts
Super accurate listing, you walk onto the beach on Mission Bay. Great amenities with the hotel nearby for pool, video games and 5 minute walk to beach. Amazing beach accessories to use anytime and the area is so walkable with tons of food and groceries nearby. Bob was super friendly and visited us a couple of times to make sure we were alright. He is an adventurer, ask him about his travels and adventure sports. Great value for money.

We went to San Diego for a sporting event and some fun in the sun. We loved the property which is right on Mission Bay, a sort walk to the ocean, and provides access to a nearby pool...perfect Tribeca. Bob and his wife were amazing hosts and looked out for all the important details, including shipping a few items to us after our stay that we left at the property. So nice. I highly recommend this location.

Family memories are made here!!
I can’t say enough about our stay at Miriam and Bobs. The house was just as described, it had everything you need and then some. Plenty of towels , linens, kitchenware, and outside plenty of beach chairs , umbrellas, and loads of beach toys for the kiddos! The bed in the master bedroom was soooo comfortable that I was actually trying to find labels on the pillows!! Bob and Miriam were so welcoming that each day when my grand daughters arrived they would be in the yard looking up for them . Bob brought out a bubble machine for them to play with in the yard and also a play tent that we set up in the master bedroom for a fun sleeepover. We were going to have a bon fire on the beach our last night there, but unfortunately it was very windy and would not have been safe, but our next visit we will have our bonfire , because we 100 percent will be returning for our annual vacation to this wonderful home! Perfect location for a family vacation
This rental is in the perfect location for all the fun San Diego activities that families would want to do. We enjoyed the museums in Balboa park, the zoo, and a trip to the gaslamp district. All a 20 min drive from the house. But you will want to plan plenty of downtime to be able to enjoy the beach that is right out front of the property. The enclosed yard was also great to be able to BBQ and let our son play on the grass. Also fun to sit there and people watch all the people on the bay sidewalk that runs right along the beach. The toy box out front has everything you would want or need for a perfect beach day. Chairs, sand toys and so many different games perfect for the beach. Also do take advantage of the offer to set up a bon fire on the beach, it’s awesome! The house it self is great, so much room and the kitchen is well stocked. Lots if towels and blankets and pillows and the beds are all comfy! I loved the front bedroom where you can wake up to beautiful views of the bay. Was nice having Bob and Miriam there to make sure we had everything we needed, and they were so sweet with our son. We hope to come back again!

Location, Location, Location!!!!
We had a great time at Bob and Miriam’s place!! It was a great location facing Mission Bay, and a very short walk to the ocean so you have the best of both worlds! Kids loved the crashing waves and when we want to mellow out, we spent time paddle boarding and sailing in the bay. Next door is the Catamaran Hotel where we had a couple of breakfasts in their outside patio overlooking the bay (great view) and where we rented the paddle boards (so convenient!)! Miriam gave us access to the hotel’s pool. There is another rental place (walking distance) for jet skis and sail boats. The unit is walking distance to restaurants, shops, and grocery store (Ralph’s). Ralph’s has parking garage for when car is needed. We stayed on the ground floor unit — it is comfortable for a family of 4, although you can fit a total of 6 and use the sofa bed. Amenities as stated were included. 2 Parking slots (tandem) assigned to us. Parking is a bit tight when next door guests have their cars too. Glad we got a midsize rental and no bigger. Since it’s our teen’s 16th birthday we asked about the beach bonfire and Bob set up the most awesome bonfire ever (I won’t ruin the surprise so won’t go into details). It was a memorable stay with lovely hosts. Thanks Bob and Miriam, we will be back!!!!!

Perfect family getaway home
This awesome property is perfect for families. The safety of the front yard in addition to your ability to view all the way to the Bay makes it an excellent home for children. Every amenity has been considered. There was plenty of games toys chairs and umbrellas for everyone. There were more linens then we would have ever needed and a wonderful washer and dryer on the premises. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well Stocked with all utensils pots pans and containers. They provided laundry soap and dishwasher soap as well as paper towels and toilet paper. If you have a large family bring another package of toilet paper. The owners are on site and give lots of help when needed yet you have your privacy as well. The unit above is completely separate and has its own deck so you do not share the ground floor property with them. There is the Catamaran hotel right next door so it's very convenient should you decide to take a break from cooking and have a delicious meal. There is a awesome taco shop a short walk away. Mission Bay has plenty of walkways and paths for bicycles skateboard er's and runners. It is a very short walk to the beach side to actually catch some waves. Thanks to Bob and Miriam for the stay of a lifetime.

A home away from home
We simply cannot say enough about Miriam, Bob and their lovely property. Throughout our entire stay they went out of their way to make us feel at home. Miriam helped to coordinate a grocery delivery so that we had the kitchen stocked before we arrived with two tired and hungry kids, Bob came back from a supper out to help us fix the TV (which we 'broke' by pushing too many buttons), they allowed us a late check-out so that we could sneak in an afternoon nap for the baby before heading home, and a million other kindnesses (including setting up a bubble machine for the kids to play with). They really make you feel that you are part of the family. Plus the place is amazing. You cannot have a better location - quiet little beach neighborhood but minutes away from all the major attractions. The condo is perfect - all the amenities you could need and a walk right out onto the beach. We loved that we could access the resort next door to use the fancy pool, hot tub, arcade, beach bar, etc. (included in the rental) . My only hesitancy in writing a good review is that I don't want it to book up because I know for sure we will be back!!!

Literally on the beach with great amenities
First off- the property is right on the beach. They have their own private sand area with lots of beach accessories. The bay side is as gorgeous as the beach side but less crazy. The resort next doors offers wonderful amenities (gym, pool, spa, amazing outdoor water view restaurant- with fabulous brunch, coffee shop with great snacks/smoothies, gift shop, etc). Miriam and her husband are wonderful hosts- not intrusive but readily available when needed. The property is well kept and clean. The outdoor patio area has a wonderful grass yard, table with umbrella and chairs, lounge chair and bbq. Our 2 year old had a blast and many items to help out with a child are there (pack and play, high chair). The washer/dryer in unit is super helpful. There is a coffee machine and full complement of kitchen supplies to cook. Can also have groceries delivered which is a huge plus in terms of convenience. Only thing we would have liked was AC - which we did know in advance of booking the property- but it’s uncommon to have AC in SD beach properties and we were provided multiple fans that worked well to keep us comfortable. Overnight was t an issue. 2 parking spots Would recommend anyone to stay here and we plan to come back as soon as we can!

Perfect location!
We visited San Diego with our two children and picked the perfect place to stay. The condo was in close driving distance to all of the places we wanted to visit. (The zoo/park, downtown/Padres & USS Midway, La Jolla, & North Park to name a few.) It’s perfectly situated in the mission beach/pacific beach area. You can walk in either direction to many great restaurants and shops. Being on the bay side was so calm and quiet even over the busy weekend. Having the resort next door was a bonus too! My kids checked out the koi, ducks & birds daily and took advantage of the pool! The ocean is literally across the street so you have the best of both worlds. The condo is clean, has plenty of towels, beach toys/games, and the kitchen was well stocked although we chose to enjoy San Diego’s amazing food rather than cook:)! Lastly, the beds are super comfortable and I tried the king and a twin ;) It’s very sound proof too! Being from the east coast I was on an early schedule and enjoyed watching the sunrise each day. It could not have been more perfect!
Out stay in Miriam and Bob's place was just perfect! My son was being married next door at the Catamaran and the location was just unbelievable. The condo was perfect and had everything we needed. The beds are so comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The offered to help set up when we were going to have a post wedding day brunch. The weather didn't cooperate though but their offer to help was so kind. I would come back and stay here in a minute!

Loved staying right on the sand with gorgeous views of Mission Bay. Our hosts, Miriam and Bob were so friendly and responsive to all our needs. This is the best location to stay if you are exploring San Diego. The unit itself is adequate, with kitchen fully stocked for cooking. Master bedroom was cozy and big, as well as the master bath. The outdoor patio is great- has a BBQ grill and table and chairs for sitting outside. Also, loved that they had a storage container full of beach chairs, toys, and everything you might want for hanging at the beach. We will definitely return!

This condo is perfect!! Location is amazing. We didn’t even rent a car! Everything we needed was in walking distance. Grocery store is down the street, there are lots of restaurants just across Mission on Pacific beach. The Catamaran resort next door had a great restaurant and coffee shop. Relax and enjoy the view!
Perfect place to relax and enjoy the best part of Mission Beach! The condo is spacious and comfortable and easily accommodated our family of 6. We loved having a grassy yard and private patio with a view of the bay. It is just a stroll to the ocean or restaurants or grocery store, and the Bayside walkway is right outside the door, a pleasant place to walk, jog or bike ride. Great spot for people-watching, barbecuing, sandcastle-building, swimming in the bay and at the Catamaran Hotel, walking the boardwalk. And the hosts, Miriam and Bob, are wonderful people, very generous with their beach toys and chairs. Thank you!! Having 2 parking spots was helpful, as was the laundry. We definitely want to return, and we highly recommend this special place for your next vacation.

Ideal location on the Bay!
Comfortable accommodations for our family, from toddlers to grandparents! Really nice to have 2 1/2 baths and a washer/dryer. Plenty of towels and beach chairs, umbrellas and activities to enjoy during our stay, the fire pit and tiki torches were awesome! Everything from restaurants to groceries are within walking distance. Bob and Miriam were super hosts! Would love to return on our next trip to the Bay.

This vacation was a 10!
This rental property exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect with so much to do close by, yet quiet and relaxing too. Bob and Miraim were so kind and helped make this the perfect vacation for a family of 5. I would recommend to anyone thinking of staying there.
