I debated whether or not to write this review because the host was extremely responsive and immediately refunded our money, which I truly appreciate. However, I ultimately decided to share our experience in hopes of helping future guests make an informed decision.Unfortunately, the home did not appear as represented in the listing at the time of our arrival. The property was not clean, the bedding was unclean, and some of the furniture shown in the listing was either missing or in disrepair. Because of these issues, we did not feel comfortable staying at the property and chose not to remain there.I want to be clear that we did not stay at Casa Azul, and instead had to secure a last-minute hotel in San Juan. Thankfully, we were able to find availability, which we were very grateful for.I sincerely thank the host for their prompt communication and immediate refund, and I hope this was a one-off situation or something unexpected that occurred prior to our arrival. That said, I felt it was important to share our experience so that other families do not find themselves in a similar position.
