« Property was calm, quiet and peaceful. It had ac which made it comfortable to be during warm humid climate. The property was only minutes away from center of La fortuna where shops and restaurants were located. We had minor inconvenience with the bathroom, but host was quick to address. We had a great time at the location! »

« Great location near Monteverde—close to hiking and nature, yet peaceful and private. One morning we even spotted green parrots from the back of the home, which was a lovely surprise. The property is new and well-maintained, with a smart layout that worked well for our family. We appreciated the 1.5 bathrooms and access to a washer and dryer, which made our stay more convenient. « I really can't say enough about our stay on the 'farm'. First off, the owners (who also live on the property) are such fantastic people. Friendly, respectful, and kind. The accommodations were first rate, very clean and comfortable. The setting is quiet and peaceful. We both loved it and hated to leave. »

« A month living as Ticos in the Casa Amarilla - great people, beautiful location and reasonable price. We would recommend it for anyone looking for a long term rental in a quiet small town near La Fortuna. There are a multitude of entertainment activities in the area. « Wow this place was HUGE!!! This is a mansion near downtown. There ere like 8 beds at least, a giant courtyard inside, everything was clean and the host got the property ready in one day after our previous reservation did not give us check in information in time and I had to book somewhere else. They had it ready so quickly and Ms Cruz was so nice when we arrived. Don’t miss on this place. The only downside is there is no AC, but we didn’t get too hot at night. Maybe adding screens for the doors...

« This 2 story rental villa has a great view of Volcan Arenal from the second story. It overlooks a farm with elephant grass used for grazing animals. The location is about 2 km south of the center of La Fortuna, so a car is necessary. It is close to several of the tour outfitters that do canyoneering and rafting. It is initially hard to see on your first visit (look for the Sapiens sign on Ruta 702) because the group of 3 houses are set 70 meters south of the road and accessed via a thin 1 lane...
