« My fiancé and I stayed here for 6 nights in a deluxe room at the end of February. The room was very spacious and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. « C’est un endroit pour les amoureux de la plage et de la détente. Malheureusement les plages sont sales et pleines de plastiques partout; Les hôtels de front de mer ne donnent aucune consignes au personnel de plage qui s’en moque royalement. J’ai vu une seule poubelle sur la plage sur 3 Kms de littoral; Un scandale. J’ai moi même ramassé des détritus de toutes sortes. l’environnement n’est vraiment pas le souci des Chinois; Touristes ou exploitants . Navrant et décevant. »

« We are totally disappointed by the room and quality standards of Fairmont Haitang Bay in Sanya. We had high hopes on Fairmont, being a prestigious US hospitality brand, and left it the very last stop of our four-day-three-night itinerary. The room facilities are not professionally installed. Room size (allegedly 63 sq m but nowhere near it) and arrangement are not the same as the website suggested. I would understand this kind of standards coming from a three-star class but we paid US$200 for it...

« Lovely two day stay at the Villa in Sanya, away from any crowds and a nice beachfront mostly to ourselves. Breakfast was quite good even if dinner on-site was more average, but quite close to downtown Sanya so plenty of local dining options within easy reach. Very pleasant little retreat! »
